Obviously you don't have to go crazy cleaning every little nook and cranny but as long as there was no poo in her "flaps" then I was happy. This made me seriously laugh out loud! You know whats funny though, after 3 boys, I find the idea of changing a girls nappy super weird!! DH also was freaked out that the poo used to go "up there" and he'd have to get it out! Lets just say I changed the majority of the pooey ones Tara, I'm looking after a friends 8 week old little boy next week, and it dawned on me the other day I've never changed a little boys nappy! Not quite sure what to do with all the dangly bits DD1 - December 2009 - breastfed for 22 months DD2 - January 2012 - straight back onto the booby feeding bandwagon

Oh, and another one of the good things, just how much some newborns can sleep! From about 8 weeks DD was doing 12 hour blocks at night, and then 3-4 hour blocks during the day. All she did was sleep!! I'm hoping I get another like that :) DD1 - December 2009 - breastfed for 22 months DD2 - January 2012 - straight back onto the booby feeding bandwagon

My first daughter slept all the time, she never cried and I actually had to wake her for feeds cause she just wanted to sleep all the time, she did wake up a bit more after a few weeks and start demanding feeds but she was always still a sleeper.
