Great to hear some updates, can't wait to get some more!
Well, Lucas is a year old tomorrow. I can't believe it. It really has gone so fast, and it absolutely amazes me, still, every single day, that I made a little tiny person! He's growing into a pretty wonderful little boy, and he just smiles so often, and is so cheerful and happy pretty much 99% of the time. I feel really privileged to be his Mum, and to be honest, I also feel really proud to be his Mum as well, I know that I'm doing a good job at the moment, because he's healthy, and he's just so happy.
He had his 12 month immunisations today. He didn't even cry, although he did make a sad face when he had the third needle. Even though they don't 'have' to have a check up at 12 months, I asked the doc to weigh and measure him. He's 77cm (in the 75th percentile for height!), but weighs 9.3kg (which has him around the 19th percentile for weight). The doctor said he's healthy, and happy, and has been pretty consistently on that curve, so that we definitely shouldn't be worried!
Knowing that he's so 'tall' though explains why I have trouble with long pants for him at the moment! They're too big around the waist, but too short around the legs! So good to know it's to do with his build, as opposed to defective clothing
He's taken four or five steps here and there, but is generally still sticking to cruising on the furniture, and crawling nearly everywhere else in the gaps inbetween! Not much in the way of talking, Muma and Dada seem to be the extent of his 'words' but he's a very good communicator despite that. Recently he's become obsessed with playing peek-a-boo, or as he knows it the "Where's Lucas?" game
As for the pregnancy, seems to be progressing well so far. We were told it's no longer twins (although DP believes there's one hiding in there somewhere), but I'm still happy to have one healthy little bub growing away.
Hopefully everyone and their bubs are doing well! I'll put up some pictures after Lucas' birthday

We're having a big party on Sunday, so that should be fun
