Hang in there Trish!
SOunds like you are doing a great job, i remember someone once telling me to go by the rule that a baby will have a few bad hours a day and a couple of bad days a week - this kept me sane thinking that its totally normal and then bubs would usually have a quiet day after an unsettled one!

The weather here in Sydney this week is rain rain rain, which i really dont mind - except i cant muster up the motivation to clean my untidy house!

Had a Midwife appointment today, bubs is almost fully engaged which suprised me and the midwife for a third baby - although that doesnt mean it wont disengage itself if it wants!

Had a scan 2 weeks ago to check babys growth as they were concerned with my fundus only measuring 29 cm - turned out the opposite all measurements were 2 weeks ahead except the head which was 4 weeks! i know they are 15% or so inaccurate but even still am thinking this one is going to have a rather large noggin!

TMI have lost a heap of mucus and had loads of contstant period like aches for a few days and nights.
Again knowing me im sure this doesnt mean i will go early but its going to be a slow build up!

Bek - How is Isaac? id you get to bring him home?

Hows everyone else doing?

Trish- you poor bugger, I know exactly what you are going through! When my dd was 20 days old (I even remember the date of this certain day!) we had the WORST day ever. I was beside myself, thinking it was me and my milk, and wondering how on earth I was going to cope. She seemed to cry all day. The only thing that stopped her was feeding Pretty much all day. I was buggered, emotional, & in hindsight the few complications I had after the birth didn't help either. I don't really have any advice, but I'm sure you've been given plenty of it anyway. I just wanted to tell you it does get better, just take it hour by hour. I know it's exceptionally hard overnight with a lack of sleep, but catch up whenever you can. If you have family there, ask them to entertain your adorable AJ for half an hour and rest up. Easier said than done, I know!!! Anyway, enough prattling from me!! I love your collage, it's beautiful, and if I ever get more than two seconds to myself I might have to have a go!!

Chantelle and Bec, how are your little men going? Bec, how is Isaac's weight gain going? Is he out of NICU?

Afm- not much going on here! My daughter is seriously full on, I keep thinking surely she is not going to be one of THOSE kids! She is 13 months old and is a climber and a devil. Today she climbed onto the back of tr couch and walked along. Seriously, I thought I'd have the baby there and then- she had me that worked up! EDD is now into the four weeks count so it's getting exciting- really need to sort out baby's room a bit more!!

Must go, take care all xo

Yes, yes, yes!!! I should have updated... we've had him home for 6 days. Woot His weight is going great. He is huge now, I can't believe it, my tiny man has gone. He is now 2.9kg as of 2 days ago which is 1kg above his birth weight at 5 weeks. DS2 had not even gained back what he lost at birth at that same age and he was a term baby!!! Isaac would have been big at term I think!!!

I hope everyone is well. 5 more days til February!!!!! Woot Woot

thanks heaps for the encouragement. i am trying to rest up whenever the opportunity arises for my own health. it's hard putting yourself first after 15yrs or so caring for everyone else, but i have now realised after what my body went through i must be healthy for my son let alone myself.
My family have been fantastic and now bubba is on formula he is completely different. no more chucking or ridiculous feeds and becoming consistant with meal times. but i think he is getting a scary age speed up.... 2days ago i filmed him remove his own nappy, no hands in just under 10min. then he has crazy neck strength he'll hold up for a good min or two. then to top it all off the bugger has worked out the bassinet already and can roll over... AARRGGGHHHH its all going too quick lol
on top of that he has just been relieved of 20hrs back up due to the formula, gross to say but i have never been so excited to see and happy to clean such a messy MESSY nappy :P

bring on feb and it's bundles

beta run, bubba is hungry xx

hi all, thought id try an pop in quickly.

i have a night owl bubba, sleeps by day awake by night - could be worse though im sure. 2 weeks old today - i dont know where the time went. We are fully BF atm with some top ups when possible of EBM as we need to keep an eye on his weight gain, last weigh in he was about 3.1 up from 2.9 days prior so headed in the right direction atm.

Biggest stresser atm is we have an app at PMH our childrens hospital on the 14th feb to check out Max's heart murmur found after he was born. The pead at the hospital didnt seem overly worried but i sure am! As we all want and most expect is a healthy bub so this concern plays on my mind a bit - have decided to stay away from google about this as it stresses me more by reading worse case senarios.

DH has been home atm buy will be out tomorrow for about 5 hours so will be my first big stretch with my 2 boys by myself after a night of little sleep, lets see how this goes lol

Bye for now, look forward to hearing of more bubs arriving soon.
Cheers Chantelle

I keep being told I am huge but I guess he will be around 7lb. (HOPE)

Just tired and very sore but nothing else has happened. Having a cuppa still trying to wake up I am overly tired today! And the humidity don't even get me started!

sounds like all the new bubs are going good at home. (well as good as a new born can be)

Had a scan last week and bubs was already atan expected weight of 6 1/2 pounds. and has been measuring about a week and a half bigger than usual.
so hoping my dates are wrong and i go a bit earlier 4.5 weeks is way too long.

i have been in so much pain for the last few weeks it does come and go but this week it hasnt really gone. i have had major pressure pains in my groin area it was only to the left side but has now moved to the middle and is so bad i actually cried myself to sleep last night. nothing seems to work to releive the pain.

Well i have 2 more shifts at work and i think that is going to be it. The money has been a great bonus over the last few weeks as it has meant that me and my fiance have just been approved a loan to buy an investment property.

so that means i am going to be one busy person over the next 12months with a wedding to plan a baby a toddler and managing a property i dont think im oing to have anytime to myself.

Well enough from me cant wait to hear of more arrivals.

OH yay my little ticker baby is in it's last little box!! Hooray haha!

Busy day today for me - getting stuff ready for two little munchkins to go back to school on Wednesday. I find that I have to do all my running around in the mornings because afternoons are quite uncomfortable with pains and BH's. Can't wait for the kids to settle into school then I will have a few hours up my sleeve each day to prepare for the baby's arrival. I have my next appt on Monday next week for last round of bloods and swabs etc.

Is anyone on Instagram also? I love it... great way to pass the time if I have insomnia haha! Let me know if you are and I will add you!

Hope everyone is doing well! February is two sleeps away!!! Wow time has flown Love

Hi Ladies,

Hope all are well. Congrats on the arrivals and gaining weight.
AFM, am getting really comfy, finally finished work, now just waiting. 1 week left tomorrow.... yay!!!
DD1 starts school on Thursday so can't have baby then. Seeing midwife tomorrow, so we'll see how things are progressing.

Hope to hear more arrivals soon.

Take care
Molly

Good luck MummyJ.

I have an ultrasound tomorrow to check the growth of my baby. They are a little concerned, which has kinda stressed me out. Yesterday, at 35 + 6 I was measuring 32cms, so considering I'm 36 today, they thought I should be bigger. It's more that I have only gained 500 grams in about 6 weeks, and the fundal measurement hasn't changed in two weeks. Anyway, can't do anything at the moment, so I'll just have to wait til Friday for my results. trying not to think about the 'what ifs'....

Hope everyone else is doing well, bring on the babies!

Try not to worry Gem of a mum, at my 35 week appointment I had the same thing and was only measuring 29cm - i was sent for a scan and baby is actually bigger then average supposedly.
Good luck!

Sounds frustrating sair. I'd get "busy", it worked with my DD. either that, or she was coming anyway!!

From the ultrasound, most of the baby's measurements are a couple of weeks behind, but the baby is over 5 pounds so they are happy enough with the way everything is going. Phew, I was kinda worried I was going to go too soon and have to go to a different hospital with unknown drs and midwives. Anyway, as long as baby doesn't come before Wednesday, everything will be as I expect!

Enjoy your weekends, I plan to do a lot of sewing.
