This may sound like a real stupid question but can you O straight after af.... like cd8 or 9?

We have been ttc since Jan last year and had no luck... this cycle sraight after af I had cramps and lots of cm (and I was feeling very keen to get intimate Wub Blushing ) hehehehe. Could I be O'ing super early or is it not possible? I have a approx 34 day cycle so I thought I O'd around day 20 Confused

Just a thought.... maybe we've had the timing wrong all this time.

Yes it is possible, you should try and grab a few OPK's and they will give you a better idea of if you are Oing or not :)

Yes! I know for a fact that the cycle we conceived DD1 I ovulated on CD10 so only 5 days after the last day of AF. It was the first cycle after a laparoscopy to remove endometriosis so it must have made me super fertile!

Conversely, we conceived DD2 on CD22! (well I ovulated on CD22 and we got pg)

I hope you DTD just in case! Good luck, lots of baby dust!

Yes you can, the only down side is it may not be viable. Because your uterus has just finished 'shedding' it has to try to build that back up again and the ovum hasn't had much time to mature.

In saying that though we O from alternate sides each month and maybe your other ovary was getting a bit happy. Was your AF light? You may still have enough uterine lining to support a bubba.

Fingers crossed

Definitely possible, dd1 was conceived very early in my cycle. Dh came to visit me (on holidays) and left on day 8 (af finished day 6), found out I was pregnant 3 weeks later, bit of a shock to both of us lol

Yes, I ovulate very early on in the piece - usually day 8 or 9 of a 28 day cycle.

My firstborn was conceived when we were technically not trying - more 'whatever happens happens'. I honestly did not think I would fall pregnant right after AF finished, but it happened.

Second time round, I used an ovulation kit and it indicated it was actually day 8 of my cycle.

Good luck :)

yes you can as that is how this baby #4 waas conceived!

all my previous babies were concieved right towards the end of my cycles so my dates werer waaaaay out. this time my dates were almost spot on- i concieved on day 6 of my cycle, so pretty much the last day of AF or thereabouts (so could have been one of the dtd we did just before Af arrived iygwim, with the time taken for the egg to pmplaint etc) but anyway, thats gone out the window now as baby is meaeuring via ulttrasound 3 weeks biggeer than that date! so still 2 weeks bigger than my LMP date!!!

Yes you can. I conceived both of my boys on the last day of my period (it goes for 8 days & I think I have like a 32-34 day cycle?)

I normally O on day 15 of my cycle, but on several occasions I've O'd on day 8 or 9.
