at what ultrasound can u find out the gender?

weo will be finding out (so long as the bub cooperates on the day )

Sorry to crash!
You can try to guess the gender using the nub theory (google it for more info) this goes off you 12 week scan (the closer to 12 weeks the better coz there is a short window of time that the genitals develop at this stage)

This is NOT an accurate way of knowing gender. But I used the nub theory to take a guess at my baby's gender before the 19 week scan and it was correct for me. But I didn't take it as gospel until the morph scan IYKWIM

Good luck!

Well I'm finally home ThumpUp Dancing We got discharged on Tuesday afternoon. And I'm knackered. Still. I had to go grocery shopping yesterday as there was no food in the house and I was over it before I had even started. It put me in a foul mood and I snapped at the kids a few times even thou they weren't behaving that badly Crying ThumbDown
But I'm in a much better mood today.
Happy Australia Day!!! I'm not actually doing anything. I was a bit patriotic and baked anzac biscuits this morning while the kids were playing outside. My DH has gone away with his mates and I can't be bothered doing anything because it means I'll have to wrangle all 3 kids in a busy place by myself.
How is everyone else feeling? I've noticed that my feeling sick if I don't eat is starting to ease up but my boobs are really starting to get heavy. I had totally forgotten all about that part of being pregnant.
Hope we get a few more people to chat to soon.

welcome all new ladies, wow our list is growing!!!

I am still patiently waiting for my FS appointment to come around and give me the all clear and finally knowing a real due date, I think I am 8 weeks monday and the doc think I am 7 (just taking the earliest date I can be) I am thinking I will be due about my bday 14th yay!

I am really tired and emotional, my 2 little ones have been sick the last week, and DH has been working late (and every day he is a farmer) and it is exhausting, they are both clingy and sooky and it makes for a sooky mummy
i am breaking out too, reverting to my teenage years, been pretty lucky with MS so far Pray is stays away!!!

Thanks, we are so excited and so nervous at the same time. I wish I had my own ultrasound machine to make sure everything was ok... I lost the twins both at different times. The 1st twin MC at 6w3d and the 2nd twin MC at 9weeks. They were missed MC so I never knew anything was wrong. I had to have a D&C 2 weeks after finding out I had lost them as my body was not doing it naturally. The most heart breaking experience of our lives.

I am praying, wishing and hoping with all my heart and soul that our baby survies and we get to meet him or her. I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard not to worry.

Hi lovelies, was resisting joining in, by hey why not! This is my second September bub, my DS will be 2 when this one is born, just hoping they don't share the same birthday! Had my first u/s on the 27th. Bub was all good HR 130BPM. As some of you guys have also had I had early spotting, which is why I went for the u/s. everything seems good now, so fingers crossed we all have uneventful pregnancies ThumpUp

Hi Ladies

What a lovely day it is.

Had my viability ultrasound this morning after my bleeding scare 2 weeks ago. Last time heartbeat was not detected as was to early.

Today i had a wonderful little jellybean with heart rate of 160. measures a week less still compared to my last period but dr said that not a concern as everything is good and where it should be.

What wonderful news for me and hubby.

fantastic Rex! Great heart rate, if they heart rate predictor was accurate it would say you are having a girl being so high. Think they usually say over 145BPM is more likely a girl and under is more likely a boy? Mine have always been all over the place so who knows LOL

I just got back from my doctor, did some bloods and will probably have a dating scan in a couple of weeks. She put me somewhere due between 30th September and 2nd October, think I'll try and stick with the later date so I don't get disappointed if I go over LOL

Well just got back from the doc after having a slight scare of a pain on my lower right side and after having a ultrasound to rule out eptopic, I got to see bub, sitting in the right spot and heart beating away and I finally got a due date 19th of sept
The ultrasound showed some irritation on my right ovary which could be causing the pain or maybe a UTI but at least bub is ok for now

How is everyone else?

Morning everyone,

Ugh, I REALLY don't want to whinge, because we've been waiting so long to have another baby, but man I hate morning sickness Angry I've been feeling pretty queasy on and off most days since about 6.5 weeks, and now this morning I spewed for the first time and am thinking "ooooh here we go again!" I chucked pretty much every day with Baylee from 6 weeks onwards and it didnt stop til the morning my waters broke... I REALLY hope this was a one off event!

I've been such a sook with different smells triggering feeling yuck, dog food, fish food, raw meat, wine, tomatos... you name it lol.

I *think* my tummy's settling down now, 3 hours after chucking, I just had some dry crackers and orange juice (oh man I've been drinking that by the litre!!) and gonna try and take it easy today cos Baylee's at daycare, but I have sooo much to do Boo hoo!

OK, whinging over!!

Hope everyone else is going well, so exciting hearing about heartbeats and stuff! Ours was 141 when we had the scan, so apparently that means it's a boy?? We'll see, I'm kinda hoping/thinking it's a girl, but we'll find out soon enough Smile

Hope everyone has a great day Smile
