I am 6/7 weeks pregnant and this morning I woke with a dull ache to my lower right side
I've had no bleeding and no other problems but it is just that it has been nearly 5 hours and I have still got it
I think I might be off to the doc as soon as DH can get home, but I am scared, should I be?

Could it be poo pains? Pregnancy makes you more likely to have constipation!

I hope you feel better soon xoxo

I've had dull aches that can last hours or days since the start of this pregnancy. Sometimes down low across the front, and often on the right. I don't know if it's related but the last week or so In the mornings the right side of my belly is higher and when I poke around I can feel bub sitting on the right side. I think they like it there and that's why that side is more achey.

They say as long as your not bleeding, or in pain it's probably just round ligament pain. Or as rach said poo pains, or gas. Id say your fine, but as im no expert definitely get checked out if your concerned.

Absolute worst case scenario it could be an ectopic pregnancy, but I'm not sure how far along they cause pain? It could also be your appendix, so I'd say it's best to get it checked, esp if the pain has gotten worse or continues.

I agree with the other ladies though, odds are it'll just be poo/gas pain (oh pregnancy is glamourous)... good luck, let us know what happens!!

Well went to docs, and an ultrasound, got to see bubs all in the right spot, and little heat beating away, my right ovary is swollen and she thinks that nay be what is causing the pain, but also could be a urine infection so sent that off for testing. If I hadn't (STMI) gone to the toilet last night, then I would've thought maybe you could be right
I am still a little sore at the moment but at least I know things are ok for now

glad u got checked and all is good BigGrin
i also had lots of cramping and pains early on and Dr thought it was either ovarian cyst playing up due to all the changes or just bub getting really settled in, either way its scary - but glad you got to get a look & baby is doing well
