I haven't been on for a very long time! So thought I would bump this thread back up Smile

I see congratulations are in order for Bek and Rach. You guys are braver than me going back for a third!

All is well here. I went back to part time work in April and must admit that I am loving the break, not to mention the money!

Lexi is still not a great sleeper and just when we seem to get back on track she gets sick Confused otherwise she is a delight, but is a full on energetic 19 month old. My two have now started fighting over toys and it seems to be Lexi that wins the battle!

Anyway hope you're all well and would love to know how you and your toddlers are now doing.

Nat xx

Hi, not sure if you guys would remember me but I wasn't in your December thread, I was due in January 2010 but DD decided to be born early in December - xmas day in fact.

Anyway I'd love to rejoin the thread if that's ok, I'd love to keep chatting about our (not so) bubs again

DD (Emilie) is a happy little 18 month old, she'll turn 19 months old in 5 days. She is talking heaps and she's just started baby boppers which is a little dance class for 1-3 year olds. She loves it!

Hope all your LO's are going well

Rach xoxo

I hear you on this - DSD used to look after DD so much and never fight with her but now that DD is getting older they fight over toys all the time (usually DD's toys that DSD wants to play with RollEyes ) you would think that being nearly 11 years old she would have a bit more maturity!!! I try to make things as fair as possible for both of them but DSD always thinks I take DD's side.. I don't, but I think maybe DSD has a bit of an insecurity because she may think I don't love her as much as DD because she's not my biological daughter. So I'm always trying to show her that I love both my girls equally. It's a tough one!!

Certainly remember you Rach! I was due in December, but Miss Lexi arrived in November Smile

How fast are these little ones growing up?! Lexi will be 20 months next week and I just can't believe it. She is talking heaps, being extremely cheeky and giving Mummy lots of kisses at the moment Wub

Hi ppls! This thread used to be so chatty!!

How are everyone's 2 years (nearly) going? Any birthday parties being planned?

AFU we have decided due to renovations we will not be throwing a birthday party for DD this year.

Is anyone else toilet training? DD is a week and a half into toilet training and it would be great for some advice or tips. She's doing well I think, only one or two accidents a day. Yesterday she pooed on the floor midair as I was rushing her to the toilet, all she said was "poopoos mummy" I grabbed her and before we got down the hall she had already done it LOL

Hope everyone is well xoxo

Hi Aligater I'm sorry to hear about your daughters diagnosis. Is it something that can be managed with the right medication?

Oh wow Aligater what a hard thing to have to face with Susannah. How are you coping?

Not much happening here. We started toilet training on Monday and I think that she's got it already! No accidents in the last 2 days and even doing poos on the potty. I'm so proud of my little big girl BigGrin Makes me a bit sad though...my baby has almost gone. I just can't believe how fast the last 2 years have gone. I think about another one and am not sure that I can cope with all the sleep deprivation again LOL

Have any of you moved your little ones to a big bed yet?

Emilie has been on the bottom bunk (sharing with Madison) since about 18 months old but only in the last month or so has she really been settled in it. We had to put the girls in a room together because we are renovating the house and only have two functional bedrooms, the main bedroom and the girls' bedroom.

She goes to bed after watching the Goodnight song on Giggle and Hoot (it is sort of like a cue for her) and then we have story time for about 15-20 minutes then kisses and say goodnight and shut the door. She now self settles in bed whereas before she would just get out so I had to lie with her until she fell asleep.

Nat how is the TT going?

We did toilet training in November and she did really well. She was in knickers (or ni-ni's as she calls them lol) full time but with the stress of renovations, she had a regression in December and is now back in pullups. She will still do poos only on the potty which is handy but she's decided doing wees in the nappy suits her for now. I just keep saying "one day when you're a big girl you won't need your nappies anymore" and leaving it alone as it causes her too much stress right now with everything going on.

Aligater how is your LO going with the CF?

Hey All,

Alligator how is it going with the CF?

Raff looks like you have lots going on! New baby and reno's is hard work. We are still renovating the house we bought when I was 5 months preggers! Well and truely over it now - but this one is not too far off being as done as we will do and then onto another one - DH promises me it will be the last reno job we do.

DS starts speech therapy next month. Progressing normally in every other way but his speech is delayed and he is having problems with getting words right even when he can say then.

Sleep is a bit of an issue to, we are now co-sleeping every night and DS won't nap and will only go to bed when we do. Don't know how he is managing on 8 hours ish a night. DH goes away for a month this week (o/s for work) so I am going to try and do some serious work of sorting the sleep thing out then.

Nice to see lots of new babies coming!BigGrin

We are going well have clinic on friday but her dietition is coming to see her once a month instead of it been in a hospital invironment she is now 9.6kg so a small gain witch is good. We are also changing her childcare centre to one that has a chef and has all meals provided in the hopes that if all children are eating the same she will to as that is our main issue.

The TT is going really well - 3 accidents in 10 days is pretty good! She knows when she needs to go...poos are another story Confused She's done 2 poos on the potty, but wont do them now. Has been pooing in her nappy at night time - which she sleeps through and holy moly her room stinks of a morning!

Oh gosh Luc how are you coping with Jude's lack of sleep? It would do my head in! Good luck while hubby is away.

How did Susannah get on today Aligater?

How's the pregancy going Raff?

Oh, Luc, its so hard when they are having sleeping issues! Emilie has only just gotten into a good sleeping routine. Before that it was such a struggle and so draining. You poor thing. I hope you work something out soon

Nat, the pregnancy is going well. I've had a few scares this time around but things seem to have settled down now. Just trying to survive being pg with a 2 yo in the Perth heat! Good to hear the TT is going well. Emilie is the opposite, she will only do number 2s on the petty. Strange child. She hates having poo in her nappy.

Aligater its good to hear Susanah is going well, considering. How did her dietician appt go?

That's good that they are happy. Do they give you some diet plans for her?
