...did the placenta move for you?

Can you please copy and paste your answers to these questions:

1. When was it discovered - what gestation?
2. Was it completely over your cervix, partly over it or just near it?
3. Did it move up enough for you to have a natural birth?
4. If yes, what gestation did they give you the all clear... and...
5. How many cm away from the cervix was it for you to attempt a natural delivery?
6. If no, by what gestation did they tell you it was too late... and...
7. What gestation did you have your CS?

Also, did you ever experience spotting or a pinkish/dark orange watery discharge?

Thanks in advance!

Can you please copy and paste your answers to these questions:

1. When was it discovered - what gestation? 20 week scan
2. Was it completely over your cervix, partly over it or just near it? Touching the os, classed as low-lying placenta
3. Did it move up enough for you to have a natural birth? Sure did :)
4. If yes, what gestation did they give you the all clear... At late 32 week scan and...
5. How many cm away from the cervix was it for you to attempt a natural delivery? It had to be more than 5cm away, and had moved up so far they didn't bother measuring.
6. If no, by what gestation did they tell you it was too late...you can ask for more scans, I've heard of them moving at 37/ 38 weeks. Depends on the severity of the previa though...
7. What gestation did you have your CS?

Also, did you ever experience spotting or a pinkish/dark orange watery discharge? I had no spotting at all, just lots of creamy cm.

This was my last pregnancy with DD2. I was told that anterior placentas nearly always move. Hth.

Thanks in advance!

DD1 - December 2009 - breastfed for 22 months
DD2 - January 2012 - straight back onto the booby feeding bandwagon

1. When was it discovered - what gestation? At my 13wk nuchal scan
2. Was it completely over your cervix, partly over it or just near it? Completely covering it and they were worried it was attaching to previous c-section scar tissue. Re-scanned me 2wks later (15wks) and was not only completely covering it (grade 4 placenta previa) but had also attached to the old scar (placenta accretta)
3. Did it move up enough for you to have a natural birth? No
4. If yes, what gestation did they give you the all clear... and...
5. How many cm away from the cervix was it for you to attempt a natural delivery?
6. If no, by what gestation did they tell you it was too late... and... I was told at 13 wks to terminate my pregnancy. I didn't.
7. What gestation did you have your CS? 36wks and 6 days.

Also, did you ever experience spotting or a pinkish/dark orange watery discharge? Yes, around wk 6 and then again at wk 25, nothing major, light brown spotting both times. I was never admitted for bed rest, which apparently was a miracle.

Thanks for the replies so far! Please reply if you haven't!

Mrs Jackson whoa that's good that you only had minimal spotting! I'm glad you decided not to terminate!

RJ my placenta is posterior with this pregnancy... I wonder if it makes a difference?

Katie K thanks for replying! 2mm isn't much but its enough!
