Hi I am new to the forum and I have been searching all over the internet for some answers. I am suppose to go see my doctor for the first time this week. I found out two weeks ago that I am pregnant. I should be starting my 8th week now. I have been having a lot of problems. This would be my fourth child with the others I did not have any problems like this. About the time I found out I was pregnant I also had the stomach flu (I think it was anyway). After the flu I had awful pain under my lungs went on for a few days. I have had horrible stomach pain for two weeks also. The things that really worry me is the pain above my ovaries like I used to have during periods but this is not just cramps it is horrible pain. After I had my third child I had horrible period pain every month for three years, now I have been having this pain off and on for the last two weeks, plus awful back pain, and pain that radiates down the back of my left leg, and my right shoulder blade almost every night. It is sometimes shooting pain in my back and lower abdominal area. I also have had a few days of dizzy spells. I just feel awful almost everyday for a few days last week all of my symptoms went away . But this weekend the stomach pain , tiredness has come back. I have also experienced blood in my stool. I called the doctor and the nurse did not seem very concerned so I kind of thought it was normal. It is kind of getting worse as it comes and goes. Has anyone experienced this before could it be a ectopic pregnancy, or a miscarriage? Thank You.

Doesn't sound very normal IMO. I'd be going down to the ED and getting looked at if I were you. Good luck

I agree with Miss T. I think that getting a doctor to look at you is your best option. Best of luck.

You're having a lot of really intense and painful symptoms, it would probably be best to go see your doctor or visit an ER if your doctor is unavailable. Good luck.

Thanks Everyone for your reply's. I went to the doctor yesterday he said he thought it was normal. I really do like my doctor but he didn't even really check me ,sometimes I think he just does not understand what I mean when I say pain. I tried to explain it was not cramping pain more like double over pain. I hope he is right and it is all normal. Angel

You could go down to the ED and get them to check you out. They might be a bit more inclined to listen to your concerns and could do a quick scan to check on bub.
