Hey Raff no sorry I did keep it for a litte while, but ended up throwing it out as it was driving me crazy..and I was a lil disappointed so threw it away..will ask Gyno to re do tomorrow! Brick wall fingers crossed.

Ok! I'll see if I can find a pic of my first BFP with this pregnancy... it was so faint that DH told me I was seeing things LOL but it was still pink. If I can find a pic I'll post it so you can compare xoxo

I see what u mean, see I'm soo sure that is what mine looked like
Ur 9dpo test. But I had no one home with me to get their
Opinion! Saying that I am 4wks late now so ud think
I would have high levels to get a very definate line??
I read that some people don't show up till they have a blood test,
So may get one tomorrow?

Hey there ladies, well the verdict is in...Im Definately NOT pregnant.Crying
well still did a blood test to check but doubt it now!
Went to my Gyno thismorning, she is a scary lady and very straight to the point.
pretty much did secondary urine test, with a neg result,then said righteo we will up ur dose to 100mgs and we will do blood tests on day 21 and 28.
I understand that the day 21 is to check for progesterone levels, but I dont see the full point of it as I need to know when im about to ovulate, not if/when I already have?? Can anyone help me out with that?
I thought an ultrasound at like I dont know day 12 or something would see how the follicles were growing to see if I am even going to be able to ovulate that month? Confused
She offered me absolutely no reasoning for why my periods are still so sporadic, or why I am feeling so sore, swollen and hormonal...I guess PMS for a period I have never got??

I know I should be happy that something is being done for me without having to wait till over a year..but Id be lying if I said I dont feel a little bit ripped off and sad that I cant 'just' have normal, fun spontaneous sex and fall pregnant easily, it has to be so hard.
I live in a town where there is alot of young indigenous girls that are like 14 and their walking around pregnant, Iv always promised myself that I would't be bitter..but its hard to take.
Anyway enuf of the pitty party..we will pick ourselves up and dust oirselves off and try again.
Hopefully the up'd dosage is just what my body needs to get kicked into gear??

I'm sorry to hear that ThumbDown and you doctor sounds like the first FS my DH and I saw- completely hopeless! I know it's probably not possible from the sounds of your location but I would suggest seeing another FS.

It really does make all the difference- this time we were both so happy this time and he explained everything so well and asked if we had questions ThumpUp

A BT on 21 is to check for progesterone levels- so you find out if you have O and I know what you mean, you want to know before! Have you used OPK's or Temperature charting?

Otherwise yes an internal ultrasound is done mid cycle to check if the follicles are developing/released- this is what I'm going to have done. You did say this might not be possible as the doctor isn't always there- so maybe that's why she didn't suggest it Confused

Come to the clomid club and everyone there can chat with you about tests etc they've had done ThumpUp

Sorry to hear you got a bfn!! :( I never had an ultrasound to check if I was ovulating on my clomid cycles either, where as everyone else seemed too! I only had the day 21blood test to check if the clomid was working. I ebbed up using OPKS and they were great!! Very helpful! You might get given some provera to bring on AF if it doesn't look like she is going to come on her own!

I didn't have a very good gyno either but in the end in the last possible clomid cycle I finally got my BFP! It will happen for you, TTC is so heart wrenching but it will happen for you!!

Hi again ladies, just another question, sorry for soo many of them.
At my gyno app the other day my FS did a urine test and it was neg.
She gave me a script for 100g clomid and also a script for provera to take if AF doesnt come by the end of the week.
I went and got the provera made up coz Im sick of not getting a period and I was going to take it earlier than she recommended as it is now coming up to 9wks without a period.
But for some reason, I dont know what I didnt start the provera...I thought I should just wait and just make sure that the blood test comes back as a definate negative.
Anyway she rings me this arvo and says the results were odd..I didnt understand I thought it was as simple as a yes or no..but she had ordered a quantative test.
She said it came back as a low reading positive 7mls..she cant understand it as urine test was neg. She thinks that I may have had a chemical pregnancy..but I havent bled yet..so if I do I imagine that it will be technically a very early M/C.
She has ordered another blood test to make sure and she said she expects to see the levels go down.
Anyone ever heard of this, or experienced this and possibly had a happy ending??

I know this may not be what you want to hear but this is what happened to me last December- 2 days before our first FS appointment I got a BFP! It came up straight away and I was excited and so was DH but he said to remain calm and just see how things go. On the day of the appointment I started to spot and the doctor ordered a BT and then rang to say the levels were really low-15. I had the second BT and it had gone down to 2 Crying. Also I didn't bleed that much- it was one of the lightest AF's I've ever had and no cramping.

I know one of the other ladies on here had a really low level and went on to have a healthy baby, she just wasn't as far along as she thought. So that could be the case for you, I'm not sure.

I don't think a lot of the HPT read a level that low so maybe that's why it didn't work for you Confused

It's good that you will have the second BT to find out for sure, I'll have my FXed for you.
