Hi girls,

I'm thinking little people stuff for Eva's 1st birthday. Our friends little boy turned 1 just before xmas and that's what we got him. Eva loved it. She was playing with it with him. Plus their not to small to cause choking! We don't have much of the little people collection and plus then we can add to it at xmas for her too.
We are just going to have a bbq at a park near our place with close friends and family. Which will be fun. Maybe do a few games for the older kids, i'm not sure yet.
Bubs #4 (OMG still can't believe i'm preggers again) is doing well. I had my 1st ultrasound last friday and it has a heart beat of 155bpm. Nice and strong. Thinking it's another girl lol!!!
Ducky490 - what do you think your having this time round??? lol

Every time I go to write this something happens (Alesea plays up or the Internet cuts out) LOL

I have no planned or gotten Alesea anything for her Birthday yet RollEyes I was planning on going over to the city this week and do some shopping, but as you all probably know NSW is flooding and we're on a major flood warning with roads cut off and I'm sure that by tomorrow we sill be stranded...

Any birthday present ideas? I'm all out... My parents came over and they brang a whole heap of things and my sister has given her a tonne of things lol. Our whole house is a play room (2 bedroom unit) Laugh

On another note, everyone has being saying that Alesea is really tiny/petite and I started getting worried so I took her into the health care nurse. Turns out she hasn't gained weight since her last visit and went from the 75th percentile to the 3rd. I freaked out! But she told me that Alesea is fine and she will probably be a skinny child. I don't know why I let everyone get to me like that, she's eats like a horse and has bundles of energy.

Ang: Yes, I'm thinking about the next bub. I've been getting really clucky because the majority of my friends are pregnant or have younger babes. But we don't plan on it being for sometime yet (at least a 2 yr gap) Wow, I just noticed that very soon it will be a 2 yr gap Scared Maybe 3? LOL

How is everyone? And how are the pregnancies going Kristy and Ang?

Hey Carissa,
I have found with my friends (most of them are SAHM and have breast fed until bubs has weaned themselves that their babies have been small. A few friends have FF and their bubbas are bigger too. Even one of them that is almost 6, she is still small for her age. I think it's just the formula vs breast kind of thing. My bubbas have mostly been FF as i have had to go back to work before they have turned 1 so only breast fed for a few months (if that) and my bubbas have all been buddas!! Like you said, if she's eating and has plenty of energy she's just using up what she eats. I would be worried if she wasn't putting weight on and not eating or drinking. But you said she eats heaps so don't worry. You'll have a small healthy bubba.
I've been looking at the Fisher Price Little People stuff for Eva. It's not to small and great for littlies. Plus we don't have much of them yet and there is heaps you can add to the collection. If we bother getting her anything. She's going to get heaps from everyone else as it is and we can't really afford to much at the moment. So we'll see.
My pregnancy is going really well. 15 weeks already!! It's going really fast which is great. I had to book my 20 week scan the other day for Easter so won't be long and i'll find out what's inside this time!! lol Been looking at new prams as i'll need to buy a double. I think i've decided on the Strider Plus with toddler seat. They look good and not to expensive!
Yes Ang, how are you doing? lol

Hi ladies,

So how have the 1st birthdays gone? Eva was such a grump on her 1st birthday!! lol I thought she was just tired but nope, after i gave her some panadol (at 5pm) tried everything else, she finally went to sleep. Especially after most of the day crying or having to be held by someone. I knew she wasn't right as she is always such a happy bubba, so i took her to the doctor on Sunday and the doctor said Eva had another ear infection!!! That's 2 in 2 weeks!! Crying But it was the other ear so hopefully this lot of medicine will get rid of it. We got her one of the little people play sets. The Noah's ark one, it is so cute!! Eva loves it. I'll try and add a photo of her from her party. Had our friend that has just started doing photography to take photos of the special day and she ended up suffering from kidney stones!! So i don't think many photos were actually taken. All in all her 1st birthday party was abit of a disaster. Luckily we had it at a park close to home so i didn't have to go to far to take her home.
How did everyone else celebrate their 1st milestone?

Awwww, that photo is gorgeous and her cake looked amazing! Smile I hope Eva is feeling better soon, Alesea ended the night with falling onto the support bar of a chair (she had a massive bruise under her nose) I was going to get Alesea the same Noah's Ark play set, but when I went back in it was sold ThumbDown We ended up getting her a cabbage patch doll since she fell in love with mine and a few other little things. I think she loved the party hats more than anything LOL

Or the wrapping paper!! lol We didn't have party hats but the paper was her favourite! I also want to get Eva the backyard play set too. It has a tree house and swing! I love the little people stuff!! hehe
Eva was fine after i gave her some panadol. Tried Bonjela thinking it was teeth, her bottle nothing helped. Then i thought maybe just some panadol and she slept!! lol I walked past her bedroom about 6ish and heard her talking to herself and knew that my happy little girl was back. So she got up and thought it was party time then!! lol She's nearly finished her dose of medicine, so she should be alright now. I hope anyway!!
Poor Alesea, i hope she didn't bruise to badly!!Poor thing.
Well, it looks like it's just you and me now. I think we've been deserted!!! lol Anyone else out there????

Since Alesea has hit 12 months she has gained a temper. Is that normal? I feel so stupid for asking but I got some weird looks yesterday when Alesea decided get angry at a cafe because she couldn't run around LOL

Hey Carissa,
It isn't a stupid question your a first time mum (not saying mums with multiple children have all the answers god NO)
I think she's finally realising that yes she is independent and she can do what she wants when she wants!! lol Good luck with that one. Eva is the same (with the running around part anyway). She likes to be able to walk around and play with all the other kids, see what they are doing. I think it's just a part of growing up. I wouldn't worry to much hun, i still get dirty looks from people when out with my tribe!!! lol I usually just stare back! lol They soon look the other way

Hmmm I thought I replied to that LOL Thanks Kristy, Alesea is becoming more independent and her little temper tantrums aren't so bad phew!

How is everyone?! There must be some March 11 mums still stalking around here somewhere lol.
Alesea started walking just as she hit 13 months, she is really stable and good at it. It did take us 2 months of holding her hands for her to find the confidence to try it all by herself LOL (she really is like me in that way haha)

Anyway, I hope everyone is well!

The 23rd is a great day!! lol It's my birthday haha. Our boy is going to be Tye Michael. We've had his named pick for the last couple of pregnancies. lol I like Ethan, Seth, Cruz, Jett, Tyler, Riley, Jack, Thomas, Jaxon, or just Jax but either DP didn't like them or our friends had boys before us. You'll find a name you both agree on Smile Smile
