As far as i understand. It's how they measure how far hubs head has descended into the pelvis.
I tried to check, on which way it goes (5/5 being fully engaged, or the opposite of not engaged at all) but now I'm just confused
As far as labour being 'x' amount of time away. I don't think engagement means anything, some people don't engage until they are in labour.
So DTD might still help!!
