I am out the wicked witch showed up this morning.

DH and I have decided to take a break from TTC for 3 month. For a few reasons
1. People fall pregnant when they're not stressing about it ( we are seriosuly stressed)
2. gives me an opportunity to lose a bit a weight
3. I dont want to give birth in Nov, Dec or Jan (dont know why I just have an aversion to these months, so I probably will have a dec baby he he he!)
4. The process is getting into my head and I need to get it out and focus on other stuff. Think we might plana holiday- you know how murphy's law works!!!

Good luck to every one still testing, good luck for March, April and May too. See you in June

Sorry need to vent - ATM in 2ww approx 10DPO today. This is playing with my head... one minute i think i can smell everything way out of proportion and I have had sharp pain in lower abdomen a couple of times plus TMI warning dtd was uncomfortable. Today I have woken up with a head cold so chances are I have a lovely imagination and just want pg too much :/ ;)

Good luck ladies xxx

Funny you say that Oni as I always said that I would prefer not to have a baby that close to Christmas either and well last month we welcomed a baby girl so fingered crossed the same happens for you.

Good luck ladies!!

Yeah, at first I was slightly disappointed that DD was born on Xmas Day but now it just seems so natural that it seems weird that people have birthdays that are on a regular day! After over 2 years of TTC I was just happy to finally be pregnant I didn't care that I was due near Xmas! I hope its the same for you xoxo baby dust!

I know exactly what you mean Oni - it messes with your head!!Scared Hopefully a break is just what you need!
We have been bd'ing every second day through my cycle (which have been up to 8 weeks a couple of times) and it is exhausting. Anyway, when I went to the dr last week he said I should go for my blood test to see if I have o'd on day 21 because if I haven't o'd by then I probably won't, which has actually been a huge relief. That was on Tuesday and it's been so nice not having to hassle DH for it or feeling anxious that 'today might be the day and we're missing it'.
Should get my results tomorrow - it will be great to find out either way! If I have o'd that's great that I am o'ing and if I'm not he will refer me to get that addressed. Applause
Hope everyone is going well!

Forgive me if I have asked you this already, but are you using OPK's?

Hey Nattie - yeah I have been but I never got a definite positive and with long cycles it was really expensive! Anyway, blood test says I haven't ovulated so that explains why it's taking so longThumpUp . There is no FS in town so the dr said he would refer me to a gyno if the blood test showed I wasn't ovulating. So that's good, but it might be quite a while until I can get in.
How are things going for you? Have you started the clomid yet?

Sorry to crash! I found that with my long cycles, so I would wait for another sign of impending ovulation (like EWCM) before starting to use the OPK for that cycle. Hth!

Hi girls, i'm still here still no AF yay!! AF is due some time in the next few days but since I did IVF i'm not sure about timing. I have a blood test on Wed. Sorry I havent been responding much, I'm just trying not to think about it too much. After well over 2yrs of TTC it kinda does your head in!! I have been checking in on you all though
Smile

MissM31 Sounds like Clomid might help regulate your period. I'm glad your Dr found the problem. I also looked for egg white cervical mucus its a really good indication you are about to ovulate and will dry up the day before you do. But in saying that some people don't get it either. Try drinking lots of water to help produce it.

Lexi J - I had exactly the same thing with DH this month!!

Sorry Oni and you other girls who had AF turn up.
