Public. But all our imaging clincs (xrays, ultrasounds and the like) are private here so we have to pay. I'll probably get $80 back from medicare hopefully we hit our threshold soon so I'll start getting the whole amounts back (we have had a pretty full on year drs wise so far)

Hi everyone,

Welcome and congratulations Nat Smile

I had my N/T scan today...it was amazing! Bubs was very active which made it a little difficult to get a realy good profile pic but here's my favourite...

BigGrin

Have a chiro appointment this afternoon as well. I haven't been for months and months but I'm reading Well Adjusted Babies and I am really looking forward to reaping the benefits of chiro adjustments during pregnancy.

I hope everyone starts to feel immensely better as the 12 week mark approaches!

Holy moly, $360 is heaps!!! Ours is $185 and I think we get $60 back, I hesitated when they told me it was that much! We're on a pretty tight budget at the best of times, but with the wedding and stuff every dollar counts at the moment... trouble is I knew I'd be worried if we didnt have the scan and had to wait til 19 weeks.

I just had to call and reschedule 2 baby appointments I had booked for tomorrow, Baylee's a bit sick and I'm not sure she'll be well enough by tomorrow for daycare, so I had to reschedule my first appointment with my new OB, and also an appointment to officially book in to the hopsital Sad I remade the OB one for next thursday instead, but the hopsital bookings line was already closed so I had to email them instead, hopefully they can sqweeze me in soonish!

Congratulations & welcome Natalie!!

Ha, that gender reveal party sounds like fun!! I dont think I could stand having the envalope and not reading it straight away though!! BigGrin

How old are you Lili? I'm guessing 93 is your birth year?? I feel old now lol, mine's 84!!!

Aww Lucky, I remember seeing Baylee's feet in her ultrasounds and being all besotted by them too, they are so cute and to think they'll one day be walking and carrying them all over the world Wub Wub

Emily $95 is a lot of money to find for most people so there is nothing scungy about it. Just tell your DH to pull his head in - he has kids now and no matter how much we want things our own way they seem to come first and us second. He can buy himself something for his birthday later on this scan can only be done at a certain time or it is invalid

Phew, so hopefully you'll all be able to see my pic now? Obviously experiencing some technical difficulties - now my timeline (days & weeks) has turned into a hyperlink Brick wall

If someone tech savvy knows how to help me out, that be much appreciated.

Lizzy82 - It is a fascinating book. So full of great information and advice on all aspects of maternal and neonatal health. I do hope you find a good prenatal chiro soon Smile
