I also had some leftover puff pastry, leftover beef stroganoff, and leftover mashed potato. So I made little parcels with mash and strog inside.

Yep, it's "nut aware" and "egg aware". They don't sell anything with nuts in the canteen though.

My son went to 2 different day cares and now at school and none have ever mentioned anything about nuts. If I didn't spend so much time on the internet , nut free schools/daycares etc would be total news to me. Bek: 33 DH: (Rob) 32 Luca Adam: Natural birth in Jan 2006, 3.6kg & BF for 22 months!! It's worth a try, the lady who looks after me didn't even sell me my thermie, she was just helping out my consultant. She has run around heaps for me! Although 2 of my friens bought thermies off her so she shouldn't be complaining :) DD1 - December 2009 - breastfed for 22 months DD2 - January 2012 - straight back onto the booby feeding bandwagon

Yet another silly question but does this machine actually cook the sausage rolls after you roll them up or does it jsut mix the mi up then you cook them in the oven?

Oven Tinks. Other things like risottos, soups etc you cook in the machine. Julie, I've had mine for 14 months. The warranty is 2 years. Today I made Brioche. I ate it warm with Golden Syrup. Next time I will divide the batter and bake in 2. It was dark brown/well done on the outside and gooey and raw in the very middle so lesson learned. Thanks Bek. I like the idea of getting one but I can't really see myself using it enough to justify the price. I remember having to have a slow cooker and it was great the first year but hasn't been used for over a year. I am a bit old fashioned by using my oven or frypan to cook most things.

I've had mine 3.5 years and I still use it daily, usually more than once per day.

I only use the stove for pancakes too. Occasionally to slow-cook pork, but even then, it's in a marinade that I've made in the TM!!! Someone was trying to tell me the other day how to cook something on the stovetop, and it was like they were speaking Greek to me LOL. In the end, I had to stop them, and just said "Look, I don't actually own any saucepans, so I'm not going to cook this thing the way you're saying, OK?" Seriously, I don't own them. Don't need them - I have a Thermomix!!!
I got one of these for my stovetop:

It's the size of the top of a stove. So I just use my stove as a benchtop now.

Thank you Julie. Well, today I got the slow cooker out. I had no TM inspiration... but now I am thinking we need a bread to have with the stew. What kind though. I was going to make the corn bread from Travelling with Thermomix but I realised I have no polenta. Bek: 33 DH: (Rob) 32 Luca Adam: Natural birth in Jan 2006, 3.6kg & BF for 22 months!! I still don't have the travelling book. I like the buttermilk bread a lot though.
I haven't made anything yet but I'm about to make that orange chicken you posted the other day.
