Buying & Selling on the forum...

If you are pm'd about buying an item from a member, please be very careful.

Whilst it is highly likely that most are trustworthy honest members, please don't be caught out.

If you are contacted by a member via pm in regards to buying or selling & you are suspicious of them please feel free to pm a member of The Mod Squad.

Please remember you trade at your own risk and Mother & Baby or ninemsn will not be held liable for fraudulent sales.

Is there a forum designated to 'trade'?

I am sure there are a lot of members who could benefit from a buying / selling section. Or is there already one?? I can't find it!! LOL

Perhaps members need to agree to a 'terms and condition' agreement prior to being allowed access?
Happy to help moderate if need be.

Cheers!

yeah i think a section for selling would be great. but maybe make it so that they have to have a certain post count or be granted access to use it, so that ppl cant join just to scam etc..

I agree with Immys mum. If it was set up like the private section where you have to have both a set number of posts and be granted special access at least that way we would know that hopefully are more trustworthy thank other sites.

Also, following suit from another forum ( ) apart from the minimum posts pre-requisite, once a member applies to be part of the trading room their 'membership' only lasts say 2 months. That way no one is lurking and it is a bit safer knowing people are only in there for a purpose.

Gosh does that make sense?!!

We can also set up a user feedback thread. Just so other members can see how trustworthy people are at completing sales.

Go on.... let me at it! LOL

Glenda,
What a fantastic idea.

Ebay takes all the profits away. I have some PP stuff that Kyle wore probably twice, but too sell it on ebay it would be a complete waste.
