If you send other forum users private messages advertising other forums/websites, your account will be deleted and your IP address banned.

If you get a PM from a member that's about a forum/website/business, or you consider it spam in any other way, please forward it to a moderator so we can follow it up.

Yes- that is fine to do Lisa.

If a member agree's to have a link sent to them that is fine.... its when we have members who have never posted sending members links- that it is wrong...

I got one a few days ago about a new forum, thought it was a bit cheeky. I will forward it to you.

There may be an easier way to do this but this is what I did.

Open the message and in the top right hand corner of the message is box marked 'quote', click on it.

At the top of the message in the 'to' line there is a button marked 'remove', click on it.

On the very left hand side is a section marked 'send to'.

In the box under 'user names' click the mouse there and a flashing cursor should appear.

Write the name of who you want to send it to, eg melaniem or stuss.

Under the box is a button marked 'Add [to]' click on it.

that name should now appear ove the message on th 'to' line

Add any thing you like to the body of the message and click 'submit'

When in the actual message, towards the bottom left corner there is a FORWARD PM button - blink and you'll miss it . Press that, then add a name in the SEND TO box in the top left hand corner. Press ADD (TO) button then submit button.

It is quite a weird set up, but that's the way it is!

Mel, actually I probably worded it wrong, it's not actually a highlighted button as such (like others are) but the words Forward PM below the PM box on the left hand side.

Ive just pm another one to stuss!
