I'm starting to stress over Jayden's Paed appointment next week.

What if there is something wrong
Jayden was born with a HIE Grade II brain injury after a rough start to life, he is defying all odds.
Mummie & Daddie are so blessed to still have our little miracle boy.

I missed your post a few days ago.

Approaching important appointments is stressful isn't it. :( I have my fingers crossed for you that nothing will be wrong and Jaden will get the absolute all clear. :)

From personal experience, sometimes the news isn't great but in time you learn to find your peace. Sometimes I think that we are the lucky ones because not even the most minute detail is taken for granted in our children. That's a real gift.

Hopefully Jaden's appointment goes really well, and like Suzie said... you walk out wondering what you were worrying about!! Either way we will be here for you.

I will be thinking of you both. Please keep us up to date.

xx

Wow! I can't believe I forgot to post in here.

We had that Paed appointment, the paed wasn't concerned that Jayden wasn't sitting unsupported as he was sitting very well supported and what do you know he sits himself now.

The paed said we may only have to see him until Jayden is 1, if Jayden keeps his efforts up.

Then we had our PMH Neuro appointment which I was VERY stressed about.
The neuro was VERY pleased with him. When she tapped his knee with the reflex tool he cried [ohhh so cute!].

So we have been discharged from PMH and hopefully will NEVER have to see that place again.

We have a Paed appointment tomorrow which I'm nervous about [Why don't these appointments get any easier?!]
Jayden is doing fantastically, he has just started commando crawling and within a day crawling!

That is excellent news!!! I'm so glad Jayden is doing well and the doctors are happy :D

I know what you mean about being anxious before appointments. I'm the same so you are not alone :)
