Hi all,
Well here I am, still waiting... 41 weeks tomorrow. Come out already little guy. Every night I go to bed thinking tonight could be the night only to wake up the next day still pregnant. Sigh. Sorry to whinge just getting a little over it really.
Going to ring around and book some reflexology or accupuncture or something today to see if we can get things moving. Will probably have a stretch and sweep with the ob tomorrow.
Sorry, enough about me!
Karen how is Emma doing? Is she recovering ok? Thought we might have seen some activity from her on FB by now?
Renee I hope little Abby is doing ok and you are out of hospital now!

Hello Girls!!

Well I made it! Xavier Thomas was born 16th October at 1:13pm via c-section. 10lb 6oz and 55cm long.

I'm still in hospital recovering. Getting easier to move with each day. Xavier is doing well, had hearing test today and got the all clear.

He LOVES to be on the boob and i thought was doing so well, but think he's been latching incorrectly as nipples are cracked and sore and had a blister on one last night. Been expressing small amount of colostrum (however spelt) and rubbing over nipple (midwife tip) as well as using Lansinoh cream. Lactation nurse will be coming back for my next feed to help me out with latching correctly to avoid the pain I'm getting when first on.

Only way he sleeps through the night at moment is on the boob or on my chest. I love the connection with him, but asked midwife as didnt want this to b bad habit later on. She says once my milk comes in he will settle down.

Hey girls,

Just updating via FB... looks like Rhiannon had her little boy!! I can't even remember all the details, but apparently it was quite quick, and they called him Angus! Congratulations Rhiannon!!!

40 weeks today..... I have a scan of the baby (to see how big it is) and a scan of my pelvis tomorrow morning. I'll get the results on Thursday afternoon when I see my OB and see if there's enough room for the baby to come out, but it looks like it could be a November baby....

Hey Guys, Im Christines other half Will. I would like to let you all know that we had a baby boy, Ashley yesterday 4:26pm at Northern Hospital. There were complications as Ashley wasnt having a bar of coming out so we got transferred from Kilmore hosp. Details as follows:

Weight - 8 pounds 13 ounces (3.97kg)
Length - 57cm
Head - 35.5cm
for those of you that have access to her face book, I have posted all the photos on there
