Ok, I know this has been discussed in various places throughout the multiples threads, but just wondering if twin mums can make a note of how many weeks their twins made it to in utero, and what they weighed at birth. Thanks girls

My girls made it to 33.3 weeks and then the Doctors decided it was best for a c-section at that stage. They were born at 3.3 pound (1.5 kg) and 4.4 pound (2kg). I'd love to know how big they would have been full term though

My twins were born at 35.5 weeks & weighed 2.2kg (boy) and 1.9kg (girl).

motherofmany, they are great weights! Just out of curiosity (sp?), what were your singleton bubs weights?

My singleton was a week late & 3.4kg at birth, so more than a kilo heavier than his siblings (so far, I don't know what this new bub weighs yet)

My singles ranged from 3.1 to 3.4 kilos. My OB seems to think the twins will weigh something around the same - he says I am a good breeder!!

My boys were born at 37+2 weeks by c-section and weighed 2470g (5.4 pounds) and 2790g (6.1 pounds). They were born then as they were breech, would have loved to have seen how far I would have got and how big they would have been if they waited till I went into labour.
Your boys are good sizes. :D

My boy were delivered at 28 wekks and 4 days via emergency c/section due to IUGR (Growth Restriction) and Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome, very unlucky.
Max was 1350 grams (2lbs 15oz) and Ethan was 783 grams (1lbs 11oz). By term Max had reached the 75centile on the charts and little Ethan was just below the 3rd.

Our boys were born at almost 38 weeks, they weighed 3kg each however, Harry lost 10% of his body weight in hospital and went down to 2.7kg. Still good sizes and as they were both transverse, I needed a c-s.

I was induced at 38wks with my twins. Caden was 5lb 15 & 1/2oz and Charlee was 6lb 11oz. Caden was a natural birth but Charlee was transverse and unable to be delivered breach as they were unable to grab a hold of any limbs, so a C-Section for her.
Me (31), DH (33), Kayla (12), Caden (4) and Charlee (4) and Jhett (2)

My mum was allowed to go to 40 weeks (yep the full 40) and my sisters were born at over 8lb6 and 8lb 8oz each! I think from memory the week after she had them she had lost almost 20 kg with the babies and placenta and fluid all gone!
