Glad to announce the safe arrival of our gorgeous GIRL on Monday 6th December at 10.36pm, 3510g and 51cm.

Induction was strong and fast, starting at 6.30pm and meeting our girl at 10.36! Will post birth story at some point. Still undecided on a name.

Been MIA trying to recover and get settled at home. We are so in love with her and couldn't be happier

How full on is the humidity up here in Brisbane today Kezz!! Did you get he storn we just did...thank goodness at it dropped the temp by 10 degrees at least !

No we got about 3 drops and the humidity is just horrid... it is causing me some dramas with DS.. he is so unsettled. I got DP to put on the air (cause teh remote is broken and I can't reach the switch) and we sat in the air all day.. it was bliss...

thank you breena for annoucing the arrival of my lil man Ashton James born 7-12-2010 at 11.45am, all things went well with the labour I didnt end up getting induced by the drip. The instered the tape on the monday night so i stayed in the maternity ward overnight and by tuesday morning was in labour had contractions that where 2 minutes apart from the first contraction, by the time i was taken to the labour ward I was fully dilated and ready to push. It all happened so quickly I didnt have any time to think. thank god for that!

We just got home from hopsital yesterday Ashton had Jaundice so had to spent a few days under the lights. I was a little bit upset about this as he didnt like being under the lights very much and i wasn't able to hold him and cuddle him only feed him then put him straight back under the lights! but now he isnt under them it is much much better!

Everything is well with me, loving being a mummy and enjoying the cuddles and kisses! slowly getting use to the lack of sleep I constantly feel like ive been hit by a truck! but being a single mummy isnt as bad as i thought just means i dont need to share my cuddles with anyone lol I live with my parents who are fussing over him alot.

Congrats Claire on the Birth of your lil girl, Emily is a great timeless name.. hope you are recovering well. and glad u are settling in to your home environment.

I still cant believe that I have created my bundle of joy, he is just so amazing and i couldnt be happier, you think you love them when your pregnant but when i actually hold them for the first tme its like a whole new feeling like you would do anything for your child and you love them more then anything in the world
