It was a great day today, We got to give Maxx his very first bath...and he loved it.
The nurse who was there for Indy's first bath was also there for Maxx's.
He then had an awesome booby feed...the LC came and saw us and was amazed at how well he was sucking. When his nurse aspirated him he had milk in his tummy so he is getting some from me :D Hopefully we can increased to two bf this week.
After his bath and BF he went back into a little wire cot...YAY :yay: and the CPAP got taken away YAY YAY :bliss: and this afternoon when they change his Oral tube it will go back into his nose YAY YAY YAY :yipee:
Huge steps forward!!! I am really starting to see an end...a time soon when we can bring our little man home. :D :D

What a fantastic day for u all. Gosh he looks bigger with every pic i see. Love the pic of him all wrapped up after his bath.. he looks very content!! :D

Oh Lisa, he is doing so wonderfully!!! He looks so contented in the pic where he is all wrapped up (with his little hands by his face :D ). I am so happy for you and your family that little Maxx is doing so well!

I just wanted to say that this news is fantastic. I don't say much around here anymore but have watched and read all about little Max. He truely is an amazing boy. I am so glad that things are looking up for you and that Max will be home sooner than later.

Awww he's gorgeous! He looks like he's doing so well too...he's definitely getting chubbier. :D It sounds like it was a great day for sure.

He is getting a chubby bubby...he is now 2.1kg (4lb 11oz).
