Just quickly; I've got Erin in HAB and I can hardly type. Plus I've got to get the boys some lunch because they are hassling me for the biscuits I just baked Laugh

Great that DH is home Jessy. Lucky you. I feel a bit ripped off that I didn't get that last part of pregnancy, but hey, I got my beautiful girl instead and that's what matters. I look forward to hearing some news, and check each day, often twice, just to make sure LOL

We all seem to be going well, just flat out. I hope blue and littleone are going okay with Thomas and Addisyn.

Hello all!!!

I am sooo sorry for not checking in here to write, I feel terrible about it. DH has gone back to work now and I feel like I am starting to get into a routine, though I would just like to have one whole day at home, haven't had that for a while and still not in sight, oh well. Always feel guilty jumping on the computer when DH is home cause we don't normally see each other that much! The load of washing I put on this morning is still in the machine and I really wanted to finish my thank you cards tonight but there is always tomorrow!!....

Congratulations to everyone! Liam is beautiful Tracey!

Jessy, I hope by now you have had your little bub, can't wait to hear what you have!

Thomas is going really well, the first 4-5 weeks were a breeze then he started to get wind, I'm getting better at reading his signs now, and take a lot more time to wind, 40 mins if I have to but sometimes it just won't come out, needless to say and hour or two later there is lots of screaming. Really pulls your heart strings hearing them cry like that and not being able help them. :( BFing is still going really well, heaps of milk, sometimes too much actually (think part of the reason he gets wind, he has to gulp so much!) I've been dabbling with expressing, i'm amazed at how easy that has been and have got heaps in the freezer (not sure why!!)He is so big, we went for our 6 week check the other day and another lady was there for the same thing with her baby girl, I swear her baby was half the size!! I think people forget that he is only 6 weeks old and they hold him like a 3 month old and his poor little head flops around!

Well I had better go and have a shower before I need to give T his dreamfeed before bed.
I hope you are all going well with your little bubs, and hopefully you to by now Jessy!
Sorry once again for MIA for sooo long! xxx

Thanks LadiesBigGrin , still no bubba here yetHuh

I really thought labour was starting last night...I was getting stronger BHs every 5 minutes and even woke DH to set up the birth pool...then it all stopped.Unsure I know it's not far away so I'm not worried, I really feel that the baby will be here soon. My biggest concern is getting the birth pool set up and filled quickly enough because chances are that when it does finally kick in properly it will probably be pretty fast.

Blue, with the colic have you tried a sling? I know how hard it is, I have had colicky babies and you just feel so helpless!Sad It's good to hear from you and that Thomas is doing so well!BigGrin ThumpUp

Jules, I know exactly what you mean by feeling a bit ripped off at missing some of the pregnancy- I felt a bit that way when I had my bubbas 2 weeks early.

And nice to hear from you too Christy, how is Sophie going?

Admittedly Jessy, everytime I see your name logged in as the last person written in this thread, I always think you're going to announce your baby has arrived. It sounds soooo close for you.

How long approx. does it take to fill the birth pool? Is that DH's job?

blue! So glad you could write. Don't worry - we all know how it's like with getting time to come on here and write. I don't know about you ladies, but we get going in the morning, and before I know it, it's dinnertime.

Poor Thomas and his wind :( I have a feeling Sophie will be similiar. She currently throws up often after a feed and I'm just waiting for it to start hurting her. Have you thought about seeing the GP for medication? Mind you, I dont know if there's anything you can actually give.

Tracey, Liam really is sooo cute :) How are you going ??

Jules - is Erin now over 6 weeks? How time flies. How is feeding going?

Hope littleone and Addisyn are going great.

AFM - we have all been going well. S is currently waking up every 3-4 sometimes 5 hours per night for feeds, and during the day it varies from 2-3 hours. I sooo can't wait for that sleep through.

She's big too and her hair is (I swear) growing already! Nina already has very long hair for a 19 month old and I think Sophie will be the same.

Ok ladies, time to go but chat soon

Hi girls,

You tired of us checking on you yet Jessy?? Laugh I wonder if your baby will make it to be counted on the census? Time will tell.

Trace, how's Liam's sleeping? Any better? I know what you mean about telling the older kids 'later' or something like that. I feel like I say it all the time, but I'm trying really hard not to. It's amazing all the things you can do with a baby in your arms (or sling) Smile

blue, it sounds like Thomas is going well, apart from the wind. I hope that settles for him soon. There always feels like there is something to do with babies around, hey?? Smile

Christy, it sounds like Sophie is good too BigGrin How's Nina with her?

Back soon, there goes my spare 3.5 minutes LOL

Not tired at all of the checking Jules, just wish I'd have this baby!!Laugh Speaking of the census mine is all filled out with the exception of the baby who I will add if I need to...one less thing to worry about.ThumpUp

Christy it takes about an hour to fill, but I know I'm going to want to be in there well before I push the baby out as it is just so wonderful for relaxation and pain relief.Smile It sounds like Sophie is sleeping very well!BigGrin

I never thought I'd still be pregnant now...I was so sure I was having this baby early!Huh I'm just focussing on the positives right now and enjoying my last days of being pregnant and trying very hard not to be impatient and so not enjoy now if that makes sense.BigGrin

Here's a piccy of my bump today...40 weeks!Wub

Thanks Christy, Ren and Jules!BigGrin

She is just such a joy, so relaxed, she came out and promptly fell asleep and has barely been awake ever since...and when she was she just quietly looked around. We are so in love with her.Wub
