Hi Girls,

I know I dont come on here much anymore, I just need a break every now and then and everything in life has been so hectic lately (plus I have been feeling flat). I just wanted to say hi to everyone and I hope that you are all doing well and send loads of BABYDUST your way.

We have our 2nd appt with the IVF doctor next Thursday to find out the results of our tests, her diagnosis and what her suggested options are. We are going in with a whatever is the fastest possible way to get pregnant we will do it regardless of the cost, as we are just so drained and cant keep doing this, as most of you are more than aware of that feeling Brick wall !

As a treat (and major stress relief!) I have booked myself in for a beautiful spa treatment next Thursday morning so I can be nice and relaxed going into whatever we are about to start. Cant wait! ThumpUp

Hi lady-loos,

I hope everyone is well BigGrin

So we met with the doctor again today and basically we are still in the unexplained category. He suggested the best and only way forward is to do the full IVF cycle. Which we quickly and glady accepted! He did say that I have polycystic looking ovaries and as I dont have polycystic ovaries syndrome because I ovulate every month (millions of tests over the years to say) and because Im slim he said I have a high chance of OHSS. He said he is going to be very careful with the cycle as he doesnt want this to happen as it can be quite bad and get worse if I do fall pregnant. At least he is looking out for us all over!

So we have set up our appt with the nurse and then the doctor again before christmas (got the last appt thank goodness) so ready to start as soon as we can next year. We still hope for our natural mircale Pray but hey if IVF is the way it goes we have no issues with that as we are sooooo ready to fall pregnant already RollEyes Smile

Hi Lauren, you sound exactly like us, honestly I could have written all that about myself...good luck with everything...we did our consents last week now just have to wait till march (hols & visitors out of the way) then we are a go for IVF too...but like you said hoping for a little miracle before then.
