naw your sweet suzanne Wub but does that mean im on the 2 forums too much that you are so use to me being around??? LOL it is truly sweet that you were concerned enough to actually make enquirers, really sweet! thank you for caring Wub normally i go mia and no one notices, so i appreciate that you did notice, both you and rachel. if you lovely ladies werent so darn far away, i would say we all have to meet up, but it would take a day of travel to get to you both!!! haha!!!!

hello to everyone else!!!

this may be a long update....... im never known for being short..........

anyway, as rach said, i was well sick on tuesday. had a 24hr gastro thingy that i am blaming my sis and dp for giving me, coz they both have it going around at their works, so their fault!! haha!! but it meant that i wasnt keeping anything down, not even water and i had a really restless monday night, and omgosh, i have never ever sweated so much in my life monday night, so i was already really dehydrated when i woke up, and then not keeping anything down all day and almost all night didnt help. baby was moving so much more then normal, and i was getting the most incredible bhs, to the point i was sure i was going to have bub tuesday night. it seriously felt like i was dilating but luckily i wasnt. now i know you are all going to say, did you go to hosp? well no i didnt. i know i should have, but all they would have done is admit me and put me on a drip and then send me home, and it would have taken ages to get there and then be seen and so on, and i just didnt want to. obviously, if i got worse, i would have, but i didnt. yesterday i had my routine hosp appt and growth scan, and everything is perfect with baby!! it is growing fine, not bigger then it should be, so my gd is so far not affecting babies growth. they estimate it to be about 1.8kg atm, give or take 270grms. it continues to twist and turn, so was in the breech position when i had my scan, but the night before, it was certainly head down, as i could feel it. otherwise everything is okay with bub. heartbeat is around 146-150, as the midwife got 146 and the scan got 150, so if i remember right that is around the boy range, as you can only ever count the heartbeat as a sex detection after 30wks, as apparently it doesnt count until 30wks. it is a super cutie though, the scanner was trying his hardest to get a good 4d pic for me, but bub wasnt helping. it was snuggled into the placenta with its arm under its chin and then was flinging its leg up to make sure the pic couldnt be taken, but i did get a little look in, and i swear it looks like liam!! so cute!! anyway, after that, we went to the shops and i really over did it, so have decided to have a quiet day today and rest to try to recover from tuesday and yesterday. getting so much closer to the end, 31wks today! and im still yet to find a house and move......

hope everyone is ok we had a Dr apt yesterday and he done our first belly measure from pelvic bone to top of the belly and we are measuring quite small so will be watching to see if we grow a bit more. Bub is head down at the moment and moving heaps. My belly shape has changed this week and it's not sitting so high. people are telling me I actually look pregnant now, considering I only have 9 weeks i'd like to think I do.
Have been trying to get a lot of stuff organised at work so when I finish up in 3 weeks everything is in place for my assistant to take over and our supeerviser to help her. The paper work doesn't seem to end thanks to the governments new child care documentation requirements.

rolymack, i wouldnt worry too much about measuring a bit small, i usually do, which is surprising considering im so fat!! haha!! ive had too smaller size bubs, but there was nothing wrong with them, i just have small bubs, so measure small as well. i think i was a week or two behind what i should have been with liam, but due to growth scans coz of my gd, there was no real concern.

feel free to crash anytime suzanne!! im sure we would notice if you went mia, we would all miss lilys gorgeous face as your avatar!!

am off to find a list, as i think it may need bumping and editing......

Rolymack, like Nic said, I wouldn't worry to much about measuring small. I have the odd appointment with an obgyn and he told me that he really doesn't like the fundal measurement to determine the size of bubs as he doesn't find them overally accurate. The best thing they could do for you is to give you a growth scan, much more accurate!! Hope all is well with bubs, all that movement is a good sign! Dancing

Hope everyone else is well and not feeling too uncomfortable Bored

AFM saw the obgyn last week just for a follow up as I was starting to feel a little overwhelmed and stressed and just wanted some reassurance Anxious Madam is doing very well-maybe a little too well...he did a quick growth scan and she is getting big!! Blink He now wants me induced at 38wks in order to hopefully prevent a c-section as at that gestation she should be 7.5-8 pounds which he thinks my frame should be able to manage. He said that if I was to go naturally and go over my due date she would end up at just over 9 pounds at 41wks! Far out! I never would have thought given my size that I would have a big baby!! Really reliefed they're monitoring her growth that well to ensure that I don't end up having a baby too big for me to deliver. Not much else to report, just feeling super tired and hanging out to finish work...2 weeks to go!! Dancing

thanks alicia, definately good to have confirmation. I too am having a big bub! Dr isnt concerned i dont think, we will know more this week when we have another appt. on tuesday. At 31 wks well, my last scan she was 2.65kgs and still footling breach so by the end she will be a good 8lbs maybe more Blushing, they didnt do measurments at the 4D scan but she was no longer footling breach and was in the right position ThumpUp what a good girl she is! That was starting to worry me!

On another plus note, I have no longer got to go to wor BigGrin ThumpUp officially on maternity leave from now!! woohoo

Sorry ladies with the buddy system ill have one of 2 special ladies on the forum announce and keep you updated BigGrin

Not 100 percent sure yet, waiting to see consultant on Monday morning. I am hoping to be discharged but they def won't until there is no more loss. It is all pretty stressfull, I feel like a ticking time bomb. Will be very relieved when my little man is here, safe.

Hi ladies I'm not concerned about bubs size at this point as both my girls were only 6pound so we are ecpecting this one to be around the same.
I hope everyone coped with the heat yesterday we had 37oC yesterday and had my sisters engagment party in an uncooled hall last night. feel like I can't be bothered today but I ended up being in charge of the food for her as the lady that was coming to do it didn't show up. But all went well considering most people stayed outside the hall trying to cool down.

Jodie I hope everything is ok for you and bub stays put for a bit longer.

Nothing much interesting happening my end. I'm so tired and lazy feeling all the time. Hardly can be bothered logging online and when I do I dont feel like typing lol. I've been busy making lots of baby things trying to get organised. Doing bubba's dressing table now, made a stack of reusable breastpads, made some decorations to hang from bubba's ceiling, finished some artwork and now just trying to organise both boys into one room and finishing the babies room. Only 2 more things to get! A nappy bag and a rug for the floor. I cant choose between 3 nappy bags. I might have to get DP to choose one.

Not long to go everyone! Hope everyone is coping well.. especially those who have been having hot weather lately!

Just a quick post, I am finding it harder and harder to get on here these days to post a big one so when I get some time to myself I will get back here, so be prepared for along one sometime soon! BigGrin

Just wanted to wish Jodie lots of **staying put for a few more weeks babydust**!! (ok so I made that one up but lets see if it helps lol Blushing Laugh)

Hope things have settled down for you now and you were able to go home.

Just a quick update from me as well: I was in hospital being monitored last Wed night as I was getting period pains for 24hours and Ninja's movements slowed down a lot. Turned out Ninja just wanted to showed off to the nurses and lets just say that they understand why I call Ninja- Ninja! Back flips here there and everywhere that the monitor couldn't record Ninja's heart rate properly. Oh and the pains were related, as it turned out, to an irritated bowel Blushing LOL. Glad that Ninja wasn't on the way out that's for sure! (mind you DP was disappointed!RollEyes Laugh)

BJCS arrived, cot set as well. Started the truck load of washing after my 2nd baby shower on Sat which went well. ThumpUp Ummmm just got to finish the wardrobe and then it can come inside and then just waiting on the tallboy and I can finish unpacking everything and the nursery is done. ThumpUp

gbhs jodie Wub i saw your post on the m&b fb page, well i think it was you as i dont know your surname, but the story fitted, and i was glad to read that you are doing okay now and that your little man is staying safe inside. hopefully he stays there until he is meant to come out!

emjay, wow, your going to have a whopper!! your girl is almost a kilo heavier then my bub is measuring! i so hope i continue the trend and have small bubs!! couldnt imagine a big bubba! haha!! and yay for her turning and staying head down!

allicia, good that they will monitor bubs size for you, last thing you want is a big bubba! well one that has difficulty getting out i mean!

casey, not good sweetie. hope you are feeling better now! i know about the moving thing, at my appt, the midwife could not for the life of her get bubs heartbeat, i think it took her almost 10 mins, she didnt need to get it, but she said it was a challenge she didnt want to back down from!!! haha!!

as for the ladies that have organsied your own buddies, that is all good! as long as there is someone to do some announcing or updating, so we dont all sit here wondering what is going on with you and if everything is okay

afu, nothing really to report, boring as normal!! haha!! feeling bub move more and more, i think my ticker needs to talk to bub, it certainly is not sleeping more and more nor is the movement slowing or whatever due to lack of room!! im now starting to learn, given that this is my third and i should know, what parts of bub feel like, as in, i can feel my tummy and say, yup, thats a head, or yup, thats its bum etc i just wish it would stay head down, bloody thing!! it keeps flipping and it is not comfortable, especially when it decides to go head down and use my ribs as a kicking ledge and push off of!! other then that, i have finally organised my hospital bag, got it all ready to go and have my snack bag all ready to go, coz i dont find some of the hosp food to be all that nice, i am so picky when it comes to food, like i dont eat certain meats and no fish etc etc and plus it gives me something for when the kids come to visit as well, so dp doesnt have to worry about bringing snacks for them when they visit. im debating to buy them a gift each as well from the baby. i dont think bella would mind if she didnt get one { she got one with liam } but i think the whole novelty of the baby will be enough for her, and liam, well, as long as there is food, he wont care less. and besides, when do you stop? like if we have the 6 we are planning on, does that mean that we have to buy something every time for all the kids? i dont know if i will bother. maybe i will just give them a chocolate, that is more then enough of a special treat!! haha!!!

Nic, i know!!! Its a tad bit scary, i know even with no GD this time im still gonna have a whopper!! DD was induced at 38.6wks and was 8lb1 this bub is going to be bigger with out having GD Huh anyhoo, i have to expect it with DH being a 10lb7 bub and all his siblings were born big! His Older sisters first bub was 9lb6 now i would freak!!!


Will definately make sure i have someone to keep you all updated, thank god for smart phones. Though i have thought about buying an ipad for the hospital hehehe

Hope you are all well. Cant believe how close we all are at meeting our bubs!
