DS was 3.4kg and was in 0000 up til now and he is 5 weeks old. Still fits in some most are tight on him. It depends too on different shops,i found in some shops the 0000 were tiny and in other shops they were big. Also it depends on how long your bub is, some legs in the outfits are longer than others. They grow so quick. I'm just glad I had hand me downs and I bought cheapies from kmart and best and less

Hi Girls,

Ok so this might sound like a really silly question but I seriously dont know. I would like to know what size your bub was in when he/she was born. And for how long were they in that size before they moved up?
I have heaps of 000 because knowing I am a tall person and so is DH, I have a feeling bubs will be around 8 pounds +. (weird theory lol)
I am wondering whether I will need 0000 or not?

Sorry again if this seems like a stupid question,
Thanks
Amy

FWIW, my DH is 6'8" and I'm 5'6" but our DD was only 6lb6oz (2.89kg) born and 19inches so 0000's were huge on her for about 4 weeks. The good thing with the bonds growsuits is that they stretch so you can usually get a little bit more time in them. also, if their feet are too big but their body is OK, just cut the toes out and put socks on bub's feet. A GF of mine had to do that with her DS. As for how long their in their sizing, it depends on where you shop. Big W tends to be on the small side whereas Best&Less, the larger size. My DD would grow quite rapidly and was basically in a new size setting every 3 months or so. Now, she's always a size or 2 larger than her age.

I don't know if that's helpful or not.
