17 weeks today so just stopping by to see what my ticker has to say about that Tongue

Been feeling quiet full-ish in my pelvis lately. Some days it's like there's a bowling ball in there, so heavy and full!!
I can sometimes feel where bub is laying to, they like to sit at the front on my right side, until I start poking and then they hide towards the back Wub
Two more weeks and I can start saying he or she Dancing DPs week off was changed, again, so he won't be here for the scan. So I have one of my best friends driving down so she can spend a few days and come to the scan, for moral support and to hold DS for me!! Last time he kept going for the sharps bin and all the power cords!!

Hope to hear from some of you MIA mummies soon!!

Very quiet in here! Hope that just means that your all traveling along nicely and have nothing to report!

Will have my morph scan in just over a week and everyone is already placing their bets LOL Votes are currently leaning towards a girl, which is fine by me because it means I get to shop all over again for baby clothes!! I really don't have the faintest clue to boy or girl, so havent bought a single thing yet!
Except some maternity pants I bought online this morning. Some nice comfy denim shorts to wear while it's hotter ThumpUp Has anyone else moved into maternity clothes yet??

Hope all mums and bubs are well Smile

Just had to stop by and check my ticker LOL 18 weeks today Woot

Apparently there's a 25cm human being in there!! And I keep thinking, how on earth are you fitting in there!! Though i wont complain too much as still no stretch marks and my weigt gain isn't too bad (2.1 kg at 18 weeks). Which considering how much I'm eating is a surprise.

One more week till our scan Dancing Dancing so excited and anxious to make sure everything is going well with bub! Really wish I could feel more movement. But given I didn't feel DS much till 24 weeks, and even then he always sat very low and towards the back, so I didn't feel much the entire pregnancy - I'm not really expecting to feel much for a while yet anyway Sad Doesn't stop me from worrying! Especially with so many pg fb friends whinging about getting kicked all night or feeling feet in their ribs, meanwhile I'm feeling bugger all Unsure

Time for a morning snack I think... I'm soo hungry!!! Again Blushing LOL

Oopsy. Missed my dr appt today Blushing Have rebooked for tomorrow! If I forget again im in trouble! No form = no scan Scared

4 more sleeps to go till we see bub!! Wub My friend who was meant to come down cant now. So SMIL will definitely be coming with me to hold DS. She has two kids, neither of which have kids yet so she is as excited as me BigGrin Hurry up and be monday!!

Hey Everyone!

Sorry I've been a bit slack lately...

I have my 20 weeks ultrasound next friday...7 more sleeps :) We will finally get to find out what bubba is! Everyone is undecided... I have half the family telling me its definitly a girl, while the other half think its a boy... I'm leaning more towards the boy, judging by my tummy size and shape and mother intuition ;)

Struggling to fit into clothes! The only pants I can wear at the moment are leggings...so I've just stocked up on a bunch of colourful long singlets from glassons and long cardigans to cover my bum!

Anyone else finding they are ready for maternity clothes?

How is everyone going with their Vitamin D ? I've been takind supliments since the start and my levels have barely risen!...Grrr

I've started doing prenatal yoga twice a week... OMG I am so tight and inflexible... glad I started early, so hopefully come D'day I will be ready :)

Yep. I'm in my stretchy pants or DPs pants at the moment. I bought one pair of maternity pants. But they didn't have much stock so bought a size smaller than I normally wear and though they fit, they pull my belly in and push against my uterus rather painfully. So that was a waste!! Grr.

I have no idea about my levels Confused I haven't had a blood test since 12 weeks and am happy to keep it that way!!

I actually remembered my appt today! So now have my form for Monday. Dr also had a poke at my belly, my uterus is sitting at about 20 weeks, so up to my belly button. Which I already knew because I can see it when I lay down. But nice to have a dr confirm it. Pretty annoyed he has a stupid Doppler that he won't use until 20 weeks. Luckily all my appointments from now on will be at the hospital.

3 sleeps till we see bub Dancing Feeling pretty sad that DP will miss out. He's already been gone for almost 4 weeks and isn't due back for another 3.5 weeks Sad Just doesn't seem fair! Crying

So our scan today went well!Wub Wub Wub Bub is measuring great and looking nice and healthy. Bub had it's legs crossed, but from what we could see, the lady said she thinks girl!! I have my hospital appointment next week, hopefully they can do another scan to confirm then! Bit scared to buy pink until then Tongue
Bub was in such a bad spot, so it took awhile to get a good look at everything. She (hopefully that's right, lol) was sitting very high for a lot of the time, then I got to pee (yay) and bub moved down. She's got so much space in there she was all over the place Wub
Also confirmed anterior placenta, so that's why I haven't felt much movement apparently Sad
But as long as bub is nice and healthy and growing properly that's what matters BigGrin
DS was pretty good too, he sat nice and quiet for the first half hour watching baby on the screen. And SMIL was putting the gel off my belly on his arm, then he would scoop it up and lift his shirt and put it on his belly and rub it around like he was looking for his baby. Was soooooooo cute Wub Wub Wub

Can't wait to hear about everyone else's scans!! Woot

Sorry I haven't been around for ages. Just really busy, tired & the heat has been making me feel a bit yuck Sad Can't wait for winter!

So glad your scan went well MissT. Bugger that bubs wasn't very cooperative but hopefully you can get another scan next week! How cute with DS & the gel! I had an anterior placenta last time & didn't feel movement until about 21 weeks so hopefully you feel lots of movement soon! That's such a long time for DP to be away! Must be hard Sad

Good luck for your scan this Friday Sarah! I am finding my pants & that are starting to get too tight. I only have one pair of maternity jeans & it is too hot to start wearing them so will see how long I can last! Might have to go buy myself a pair of comfy cotton shorts or something to see me through! I never keep check on my levels after the first blood test either so have no idea! I take a pregnancy multi vitamin though & did last time too & never had any problems so I guess it helps Smile Prenatal yoga sounds good!

Had an OB appt today so got to see jelly bean again which was good. I have started to feel movement but not since early last week so was getting a bit worried but all is good Smile Can't wait for my scan in 2 weeks time!!! BigGrin

How is everyone going with names??

Yay for getting a peak at jelly bean Jacki! It's like being stuck in limbo between the 12 week scan and when you start feeling movement! Barely any appointments. You physically better. But no movement. I'm not showing very much at all so some days I feel like I'm not pg at all!! Hopefully we both start feeling some nice strong, regular movements from our bubs soon!!
DP being away has been stupid. Lol. I don't like it!! But new car and house soon. Gotta do what you gotta do Glare Won't be forever.
DP and I haven't really had the names we like discussion yet. Think I will corner him when he's home and go over my list. It's rather short at the moment! But Im sure it will get longer. There's a few on there that I know he will probably hate and flat out say no too LOL Do you guys have any names picked yet?

Sarah, just a few more days till your scan! You must be getting excited Woot

Yes it is! How long is he away for? I havent seen DP in five weeks, back at 15 weeks pg. He won't be home for another two weeks. Will be 22 weeks by then. He got to come to our 12 week scan but not the morph scan Sad Its sad when they miss out on the big stuff Sad
