Well DH and I were insistent on doing it all naturally without medical intervention so for No.1, we tried for 2.5years and for this one, we weren't stopping it from happening for 3.5years. Each time, it happened when we'd decided that we were happy the way things were. DD, we were talking about planning a big trip OS and this one, had our tickets booked, plans made so it seems to work for us :D

When we first started trying we tried for 3 months then fell but had a m/c, then it took another 10 months to fall with DD.

This time we fell 1st month then had another m/c, now here we are 11 months down the track and still trying...

Hoping your journey is a whole lot quicker and more straightforward!

Mealsy - it's always horrible to have to go through that. I had 2 before DD and another 2 inbetween her and this one.

We conceived our first without trying Blushing. I wasn't taking my birth control properly and we were using the pull out method.

Our second... We are in our 2 month of actively trying. (for the last couple of months before we were actually trying - before our wedding we were just using the pull out method)

They say the average couple will take 6-12 months to conceive and if you're over 30 you only have to wait 6 months before you can seek help.

I know how you feel- if only we knew how long this would take!

DS was a fluke! He was conceived the night DP said he was going to put a baby in me lol LOL LOL

This time I went off the pill in July and conceived in October, so 3 months. Though it felt heaps longer Blushing

We've been very lucky so far, as Nattie said the average is around 6-12 months

First pregnancy happened despite using condoms.
Second pregnancy happened first month after removing IUD but I miscarried.
Tried for 18 months after that and didn't fall pregnant.

DS1 - 3rd month of trying

DS2 - 1st month of trying and only 2nd cycle of AF returning after having DS1.

We are both well over 30 so we consider ourselves very fortunate.

It took us 4 months Smile . I did conceive first time but I had a m/c. In the 2 months between I would stop drinking in the 2 weeks and did all the stuff they say and didn't get anywhere, after those 2 months I decided just to be me and have fun, which happended to be around christmas and I fell pg. I will be doing the same when we try for the next one in about a yrs time.

DD took 2 months and DS took 1 month after coming off the pill. I consider myself to be very ucky as we didn't track cycles or anything like that.
