Hi Everyone BigGrin

Well this journey is taking longer than I thought it would, but I feel like we are starting to get somewhere ThumpUp

I went back to see the local doctor for my test results, after I had an ultrasound and GTT and other BT's. She thinks I have PCOS.....

Not sure what that means for me exactly Confused and gave me a script for metformin. She said to not get my hopes up but a lot of women fall pregnant in the first month of using it Woot Unsure. Has anyone used this? Did it work for you? How long before you got your BFP?

I'm holding off because I have a FS appointment on Monday and will confirm with them before I start taking it.

Can't believe we have got the ball rolling Woot

I have PCOS and the doctor prescribed me metformin and the pill (because I didn't want to get pregnant, and to control my acne/facial hair), and said that when/if I decide I want to get pregnant, he'd just take away the pill and prescribe clomid.

I had/have PCOS but decided to take the natural route so can't give you any advice on the script. After a little bit of reading and researched, I found that PCOS is often caused from an imbalance of oestrogen and Progesterone with the body typically producing very little, if any progesterone at all. I used a Progesterone Cream from Biovea and found it took about 6months for AF to behave on a clockwork type schedule and as soon as I stopped using it, BAM! And now I only have 17 weeks to go :D

I hope we can hear some ultra exciting news from you ASAP!!

I know that it's tough on you but you're also a tough girl having experienced all this. I know that you can deliver a healthy baby at a healthy state.

GBH Nattie, thinking of you at this sad time.

You will get your beautiful baby in your arms one day, and the wait will be worth it! Wishing you a quick BFP as soon as you're ready to try again. In the meantime, take some time out to relax and look after you and DH.
