DD is barely breastfeeding anymore Crying If I'm lucky I can get in 3-4 feeds a day and I find that if we go out she just isn't interested in it. Is this okay? She has 3 meals a day and she will eat non stop (I've cut it down, which hasn't helped one bit) She has been having a sippy cup with water, but she's lucky to even drink a full one (plus it's been so hot here and I don't want her getting dehydrated) I'm so lost as what to do, a couple of months ago she was still booby mad and I didn't think she'd ever lose interest in it!

My first was only having 2 BF a day at from about 9 months old. I think the food was probably the cause for us (she was food crazy like your little one) but we went on to feed until 13 months.
If she doesn't get cranky when you offer, keep offering, she may go back to more regular feeding.

I agree, getting 3-4 BFs in per day at nearly 10 months sounds normal! DD went to about 2-3 per day at around that age and continue that way until she was about 14-15 months old when she became a big boobie monster again, and I weaned her at 18 months.

You are doing well! You should be really proud of yourselves for getting this far! Keep it up!

Jimmy was on 4 feeds a day at that age and we are still feeing now, he was (and still is) food crazy! He was all over the shop with how long he feed and was always getting distracted RollEyes Now days he is on two feeds and some days he seems not interested at all and other days I cannot get him off Laugh

I think babies are very good at getting their needs meet, I wouldn’t force her onto the boob or to have water, if she needs it she will take it just keep offering!

I wish LOL !

My DD is stll on 4-5 feeds during the day, then at least once overnight. I don't see her weaning anytime soon.

I wouldn't be worried. As long as she is getting the nutrients she needs from the food & is drinking water, then all sounds good !

If you DO however continue to worry, maybe speak to your CHN & she will probably recommend a toddler milk ?

Thank you ladies, it's such a shock to me that she isn't that interested in booby milk anymore Crying Why do they have to grow up so fast?
