Does anyone know what is normal? Or what their babies rates were around 10 weeks? I have a doppler (yes, paranoid) and check once a day. I am 10-11 weeks (HCG levels too high for my dates apparently) pregnant and baby's heart rate has been 165 one day and since then 180-190 one day and mostly about 175. Is this okay?

The first few scans my sons sat high at about 179. He debunked the theory though that faster heart rates means a girl!!! Try not to worry about heart rate too much. Talk to your medical people but I am fairly sure there is a HUGE range of normal when it comes to fetal heart rates. Bek: 33 DH: (Rob) 32 Luca Adam: Natural birth in Jan 2006, 3.6kg & BF for 22 months!! Elliot Robert: Emerg C/S in Dec 2008, 2.8kg & BF for 29 months!! ‎Isaac Benjamin: Emerg C/S in Dec 2011, 1.9kg (32+2) & BF for 5 mths + with early help from Mothers Milk Bank!!

i found the earlier i was, the higher the HB was. like at my 7week ultrasound, the HB was up around 180 but then when i got to my 13 weeks appointments and had a scan in the office, it was 145. and its been about the same ever since. i wouldnt worry about your hcg being 'too high' because the range for hcg is really, really huge. i mean, for someone around 10 weeks, the difference between one pregnancy and another can be thousands, yet both be the exact same gestation. there is a thread on here somewhere with the hcg levels on it.

no, as said before, the charts are only a 'guide' and because every pregnancy and baby and mum are different, there is always going to be differing numbers, so it doesnt mean anything bad or opposing either. i;ve been to a doc really early on with hcg under 15 and been told its about 3 weeks along and then been again with hcg of over 400 and been told the same thing with a different pregnancy so even doctors opinions on what is normal, low or higher can be different

I was told that a fast heart rate indicated it was a boy! well in my case that was true DS heart rate was always over 160 which every time the midwives and doctors checked they where convinced it was a boy! Me- 24 DS-1
