Best cycle day for laparoscopy?

im having a laparoscopy done for the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis next friday and I was wondering what cycle day is best for it to be done on?Confused
M/C: 6wks December 05'
DD: Febuary 07'
M/C: 7wks December 07'
DS1: June 09' forever my baby
M/C: 6wks November 09'
DS2: April 11'
Diagnostic laparoscopy/Endo removal: January 12'
TTC #4 SINCE MARCH 2012

I had mine done while I had my period, we had already rescheduled twice cause of my cycles being all over the place so in the end went with that. Its best post 'o' from memory, but they were specifically going in to look at cysts on the overaries so that might have been why, but they found endo while they were at it.

I had one for endo a few years ago, and my Gyno didn't mention doing it at a certain time of my cycle at all. I know I didn't have my period but other than that it could have been at any stage, although my cycle was a bit irregular at the time, and I had a lot of break through spotting. Good luck with it!

i just started my period today so i will be around cd 9 by then, i wasnt sure if i needed to let them know or anything

My first lap I was on the pill and my surgeon scheduled my lap to be just after AF finished. My second lap was done by another surgeon and she said it can he done at any time during the cycle. I think I was around CD10

I had mine just before my period came I remember I had just started spotting the day I went in, they must have cleaned everything out because I never really got a period that month just spotting.

My doctor didn't really seem too concerned where I was in my cycle.
