Hi all, I'm 38 weeks with my second & this waiting for bub to come is driving me mad! I don't remember being like this with my first probably because I just assumed you wait till at least 40 weeks before you start getting anxious. My first was 39 & 3 days, so I keep thinking I'll be earlier with this one! I've also had heaps of BH & bub has dropped which makes walking feel really heavy. Last night I had a cleaning frenzy in the kitchen too- which got my hopes up, but no contractions etc yet. Anyway, just wanted to know if any other mums to be feel like this too & any tips to take your mind off the very much wanted birth!

Yep these last few weeks are driving me mad too - I think I set myself up for disappointment though as I keep telling myself it will happen early this time, when I still have 3 weeks till I am due. I should trick myself into thinking I have 5 weeks to go then I might be surprised when baby arrives on my EDD I have no tips for keeping busy though as I am in the same boat! Good luck hope it happens sooner rather than later for you Me: 30: DH: 29 Kiddies: Lily Sofia - 5 Leo James - 3

Thanks ladies! I've tried spicy food, walking, sex, doing acupuncture & my naturopath will make up a tonic once I'm 39.4 days! Went to doc today & he did an internal...my cervix is thick, to the back & nowhere near any cms dilated.

Have been bouncing on a fit ball and trying to drink raspberry leaf tea, but I tend to feel sick and vomit that up!!! Feel so tight and heavy now - just sitting is a chore! My skin and muscles feel like they are being grabbed from top and the bottom and being stretched. 39.3 weeks today- that's what DS was...

39.6 today. Have had diarrhea twice this morning. So maybe labour is soon? Or could just be the Mexican I ate last night. Lol. How funny would it be if I actually had bubs on my due date!!!

I swear this baby is messing with me! No more diarrhea & last night I had constant cramps & contractions. Today? Nothing! I'm so scared I'll have to be induced! This is so frustrating!!! Please send more labour vibes my way!!!
