1 . I get off my chair or out of my car, and My belly hurts as if I have pulled a muscle feeling and it goes away straight afterwards. Could be your uterus stretching out and ligament pains. If you're really worried, see your GP.

2 . My tummy feels likes something is in there but I cant make it out if it is or isn't bub, but I can feel it when I get up ect. Like a hard lump on one side when you're pushing on your tummy or something else???

3 . Im very " wet " down stairs, like watery/mucus with a scent? Normal to have EWCM during pregnancy and it can be heavier then normal as it is there to protect bub and block off your cervix.

4 . My back is absolutly killing me (lower back) im in my early pregnancy and its that bad I want to go to the chiropractor or a bown therapist. I had this too early on, sit with cushions behind you when you can and lay on your back at night. Its advised once you hit 20wks to no longer sleep on your back but until then take advantage!!

5 . Just above my vagina to my belly button my tummy is hard (I have a bit of flab) but is this the start of my baby bump? Could be, most likely its your uterus growing to accommodate bub so yes baby bump and also your pelvic bone

6 . My friend said I cant fuel up my car because of the fumes? True or False. False - although if you're worried get someone else to do it for you or cover your mouth when fuelling up.

7. She also said I cant drink coke/diet coke (currently drinking pepsi max) You can have caffine drinks but they ask you to limit them to only a couple a day. I have drank Pepsi Max throughout this pregnancy and have about 2-3glasses a day but I don't drink coffee so if I was to have one of those then cut out a glass of pepsi and same with tea.

8 . Say no to cold rice? No to all cold foods pre-cooked and all deli meats. Here is a good guide I am using to help with the food stuff: http://www.foodauthority...f/pregnancy-brochure.pdf

9 . I have birds, rabbits , snakes , dog and a cat as pets. should I stay away from any? Cat is indoors. DO NOT EMPTY THE CAT LITTER UNTIL AFTER BABY IS BORN!!!!!!!!!!! Make sure all pets are wormed and flea controlled throughout your pregnancy you don't want them to pass anything toxic onto you through worms etc. If you google the other pets other then cats and dogs they will tell you as I am not sure but otherwise feel free to pat your cat and dog.

10. Is brown discharge normal? If you've DTD then it could be old blood coming out from that or just old blood in general coming out with your CM

11. Is my ultrasound picture below normal Blink Well if its the one they gave you then yes Laugh

12. What is thrush? I think i have it, its very hot down stairs? Lots of itching and smelly discharge, if you're not sure go see your GP and they can check and recommend a pregnancy safe treatment

For those who answer my questions thank you SO SO SO MUCH! I look forward to talking to you shortly... xxxx Blushing HTH somewhat

1 . I get off my chair or out of my car, and My belly hurts as if I have pulled a muscle feeling and it goes away straight afterwards. Sounds like round ligament pain. I get it too. Just have to remember to get up slowly!!

2 . My tummy feels likes something is in there but I cant make it out if it is or isn't bub, but I can feel it when I get up ect. could be bub, could be you can feel your growing uterus taking up space. You havent really described the feeling.

3 . Im very " wet " down stairs, like watery/mucus with a scent? I have been having watery cm this whole pregnancy. I did with DS too from memory

4 . My back is absolutly killing me (lower back) im in my early pregnancy and its that bad I want to go to the chiropractor or a bown therapist. yep! Another beautiful pregnancy symptom. My bubs like to sit against my spine, which gives me horrible lower back pain. You can go to a chiro if you want. Just make sure they know your pg

5 . Just above my vagina to my belly button my tummy is hard (I have a bit of flab) but is this the start of my baby bump? probably. Mines only hard sometimes. Mostly my uterus is squishy, and if bub is sitting out front I can poke them!!

6 . My friend said I cant fuel up my car because of the fumes? True or False. yes you can put fuel In your car. Just don't go intentionally breathing in the fumes.

7. She also said I cant drink coke/diet coke (currently drinking pepsi max) she is probably talking about your caffeine intake. Which you should limit to 200mg (I think) per day from all sources. So coffee, chocolate. Etc. Pretty sure pepsi though sugar free, still has caffeine.

8 . Say no to cold rice? I wouldnt eat cold rice. It's worse for making you sick than chicken. So I avoid it

9 . I have birds, rabbits , snakes , dog and a cat as pets. should I stay away from any? Cat is indoors. from your cats poo definitely. Just be aware of germs and diseases animals can carry. Wash your hands after touching them, before eating, etc

10. Is brown discharge normal? I've never had it when pg, but as long as it's not red they say it should be fine

11. Is my ultrasound picture below normal Blink lol. What casey said.

12. What is thrush? I think i have it, its very hot down stairs? possibly thrush. Do you have thick white or cheesy looking discharge, or are you itchy?? Thrush is a yeast infection that is easily treated. A quick trip to your dr can confirm if you do have thrush

1 . I get off my chair or out of my car, and My belly hurts as if I have pulled a muscle feeling and it goes away straight afterwards.
Your muscles relax during pregnancy, try getting up slowly if you are really worried ask your OB or MW. I get this also however it is further aggravated by ongoing pain I have from my c-sectionRollEyes .

2 . My tummy feels likes something is in there but I cant make it out if it is or isn't bub, but I can feel it when I get up ect.
It could be Bubba.

3 . Im very " wet " down stairs, like watery/mucus with a scent?
Normal, unless of course it is actually water if it is go straight to hospital.

4 . My back is absolutly killing me (lower back) im in my early pregnancy and its that bad I want to go to the chiropractor or a bown therapist.
Got this both times!

5 . Just above my vagina to my belly button my tummy is hard (I have a bit of flab) but is this the start of my baby bump?
A baby bump is hard so I would be saying yes.

6 . My friend said I cant fuel up my car because of the fumes? True or False.
Don’t know but I have filled up many times. On the other hand I cannot clean the shower when pregnant if. I think that is the fumes are too much for you do not do it.

7. She also said I cant drink coke/diet coke (currently drinking pepsi max)
I do not think there is a hard and fast rule saying no, but you have to limit the amount of caffeine you have.

8 . Say no to cold rice?
Defiantly and also no to rice that has been cooked, cooled and re heated, there is a bacteria that grows on rice when it cools down and re heating does not kill it.

9 . I have birds, rabbits , snakes , dog and a cat as pets. should I stay away from any? Cat is indoors.
Stay away from the poo especially the cat poo! Get someone else to clean the littler tray.

10. Is brown discharge normal?
Ask your OB, GP or MW.

11. Is my ultrasound picture below normal
Yep!

12. What is thrush? I think i have it, its very hot down stairs?
If you have a cottage cheese like discharge it is probably thrush.

Hey Lilli, what mode of care are you having for your pregnancy?

I would be writing down all your concerns and asking your HCP. Lots of the questions you asked should have been covered by your HCP already in your preliminary appointments - I know my GP then OB both discussed lots of what you are asking.

Personally, I would be asking professionals for medical advice to the extent you have, rather than people on a forum (not that we are useless or anything, we just don't know your particular situation or body so what is normal for one may be totally abnormal for another).

I was going to agree!!

I actually did not know that thing about rice... ThumpUp
But I also was going to argue that changing your cats litter box is ok. I did it with DD and have done with this pregnancy... When I scop the bits out, I don't breathe and I use gloves and then really wash my hands afterwards....
And when I change the whole litter box, when putting new crystals in I wear a face mask just so I don't breathe anything in... however that is my choice. I always make sure that I take precautions, and do it pretty much as soon as my cat has gone to the toilet - IYKWIM. As I was told and read that it is only when it had been sitting there for a while is when the toxic levels were the worse.

Thanks ladies for answering all my questions!

I know its " unusual " questions but as my mum has only just passed away its hard to find answers, being a teen without no mum is difficult!

My OB & Midwife is great just haven't had the chance to clear all the questions.

It's not a matter of being understanding, or keeping your questions to yourself - we're all adults and many of us have 'been there, done that'.

I am just letting you know that it would be far more wise to consult a HCP about many of your questions, as they are the ones professionally trained to deal with health issues during pregnancy, which would be particularly important in your situation, given your history of miscarriage.

It would be unwise to take solely, the opinions and answers from a forum, considering the members on here, as a whole, are not HCP's and have not personally examined you.

All the best Smile

If you already have the cat, chances are you've already come into contact with toxoplasmosis pre-pregnancy and you're safe. It's only an issue if you contract it while pregnant.

CMV is not the same as toxoplasmosis though, is it? CMV is cytomegalovirus or something isn't it?

Thanks Beck. I had the cat about 1 year before I was pregnant...
I know alot of people do say not too, but I am very viligent with handwashing etc. And plus even tho I have told husband and his mum has told him, he just doesn't get it and it is easier to do it my self then to argue with him!!!!
