Hi all, I am not sure if I am on the right section of the forum, but Iv got a few questions to ask. I have previously been in the AC section of the forum as I was required to be on Clomid for not ovualting!
I took my first round in oct/nov sometime, with no luck and having a 7 week process with no period, of course I OPK'd,temperatured, looked for symptoms like crazy pee'd on soo many sticks and had blood tests, to no avail, with AF showing her ugly head just after christmas 2011.

I took my second course of clomid in early Jan, day two of my cycle and seeing as though I was on holidays didnt OPK, or temp or really pay much attention at all.
However now I am over 7 wks late for a period, did a urine test at day 28 with a neg outcome, which I realise could have been too early.
But the last wk esp I have really noticed the following syptoms
Sore heavy tinlgy/achy breasts, though the nipple is really no darker
have felt nauseous on and off esp after coffee which I usually Love!
Headaches in the back of my head and neck.
I used to have ezcema as a kid, and it cleared up and all of a sudden the other day this horrible rash popped up all over my hips and tummy and Im rather itchy.
Tummy is rather bloated, and need to wee a bit more.
and I have been having quiet a few cramps lower down in my abdomen, not painful, just achy and heavy and as if my period is going to start any minute running to loo to check coz of a bit more dishcharge than usual I seem to feel wet down there,(sorry tmi)!
I guess what Im wondering is if any of these rather odd symptoms point to a chance I could be pregnant, I know I should test, but I am terrified of seeing a no! I will see my gynaecologist on monday, see what she says I guess!
Sorry for the essay just needed to get it off my chest!
Baby dust to all. Cool

The horrible thing about TTC is that the symptoms of AF and the symptoms of early pregnancy are so similar that it's so difficult to know when you are or not!!!

7weeks late for AF is big though,so I would definitely be taking a test, if negative then I think a trip to the Dr wouldn't hurt!

Goodluck and I am hoping you get your BFP!

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. I just re read my post, oops Im not 7weeks late, its been 7wks almost 8 since my last menstrual period!
Geez if I was over 7wks late Id def take a test! LOL
I guess Im technically almost 4wks late!
Just thought Id better clarify that!
I am most interested about the cramping, never experienced that before unless Im in my period...
wondering if it could be uterus stretching etc..probably just wishful thinking!
Cheers Smile

Yes, cramping can not only mean AF is coming, it can also mean pregnancy! I cramped a lot in the early weeks of my pregnancies.

I know what you mean about not wanting to test in case its a BFN. I was in the same boat when we got pg with DD, we had been trying for over 2 years and I was terrified of seeing only one line. Therefore I didnt discover i was actually pregnant until I was nearly 7 weeks pregnant!

Unfortunately you have limited options which are:

1. POAS (pee on a stick) and you'll know either way!
2. Don't POAS and wait until either AF comes or a baby is born LOL. If you don't POAS it will be harder to get into an ob as they can book up quickly so if I were you I'd bite the bullet and test!

Good luck, let us know how you go!

I am by no means an expert but I am a very keen symptom spotter Laugh and before my last m/c in December the symptoms weren't that different from the normal (which I agree is super annoying!) and my level was really low but still enough to get a BFP on a HPT @ 4 1/2 weeks / 5 days late for AF. So I would say if you are experiencing symptoms that it might be enought to come up -if this is negative I would ask the GP for a BT to confirm either way.
Did the GP prescribe clomid for you or are you seeing a FS?

Agree with PP. Unfortunately alot of pg symptoms can be the same as AF ThumbDown Take a test and let us know how you go! It might be time to take a trip back to your dr to see what's going on.
Good luck BigGrin

Hi all thanks for your replies..
Umm I was put on clomid from a referral to a gynaecologist
She had done tests and it had proven I wasn't ovulating!
I am due to see her again this mon assuming she will up my dose shall I not be successful.
But what I found interesting was that I was never monitored thru the rounds of clomid so I don't even know if
I ovulated.
To those who were on this treatment, we're u monitored?
I will take a test this arvo and let u all know...
Plz send me lots n lots of baby dust!!

That's why I asked because I just went and saw the FS the other day and he wants to do mid cycle scans to see if it's working because he said he could send me away for 3 months and see what happens but then he won't know if it's doing anything.

I have my FXed for you!!

Yeah that's exactly right.. And that's what I'm annoyed at!
I could be wasting my time and hers not to mention unnesecerily
Thinning my uterine lining!
I do live in remote WA so doc apps are very hard to get
N the specialist only visits sporadically... And even though they
Acted quickly haven't been trying for a yr yet, they
Are very casual about it all!! Frustrating!!

I haven't heard anything about it thinning your uterine wall Confused

I can understand that it's hard to get an appointment for the right time if the specialist isn't always there- which I can understand would be annoying.

Maybe they have been casual because they aren't particularly concerned about your chances if you haven't been TTC for 12 months yet.

Come over to the 'clomid club' that Mealsy has created in the AC section- you might be able to ask a few questions in there! ThumpUp

Four days of AF cramps and no AF is what made me test with my first, Jimmy was a surprise therefore I was not looking for symptoms at all so cramps was my first symptom. Good Luck I hope you get a BFP!

Well....did HPT think it was first response and it came back negative I think?
I know that sounds like a stupid thing to say, but I think I can see a very very light line but its not pink, like the control line, but I checked it before 5 mins and I can see where the line would be!!
Dont know if that makes sense, or if its just purely wishful thinking?
Well guess Il wait and see gyno on mon, will check back in to let u all know how it went.
I just wish I had a reason for all this horrible cramping, even sitting here typing Im cramping AF style! Not cool.

That sounds like an evaporation line. The second line has to be pink as well to be positive.

I would test again in the morning with the first morning urine (the wee that accumulated in your bladder overnight) and if its still a negative then maybe you should see your GP as to why your AF hasn't arrived for 7 weeks.

Hi there casey, thanks for ur post and baby dust!!
Umm it was first respoonse, wee into the cup, dip stick into it and wait for 5mins. Very very basic, but should still do the same job!
I checked it within the 5min reccomended window but Im sure that there was a very faint line, but the control one was pink, this one was white, I know that makes No sense at all, but if someone else saw it theyd either know what I mean or think Im a complete nutter..LOL
Thanks for your support, will keep u all posted.
